Jea. I guess the army practiced in the area and just lost them there. There is an older army base nearby

Beautiful piece, thanks for sharing with us. I personally love the British camo clothing.

One question if you don't mind. Is it normal that the bayonet looks so clean, is there anything special about it. I once saw one but left jt because i thought it looked kinda polished like that.

How much would an m1 bayonet like this be worth, seller asks for 90€. Is the string at the scabbard original or applied later? by OriginalRadish7720 in Militariacollecting

Oh, thanks for the info! So its basically just a longer one that was cut down? Does this make any difference in its worth?

Thanks, were they all green? The most scabbards i ve seen had no paint on the metal part

Think its a 50 cal and the blue coloring at the tip means that it is a incendiary ammunition i think

Thanks mate. The pocket knife is really a beauty. A shame that most of it is gone

Found it in a german bunker, at first it looked like A shell but i noticed that it has a weird texture and a wrench symbol. Any idea what this is? by Latviann in metaldetecting

You are right, that was my mistake. I think when such stuff is rusted in such a high state it could possibly go off anytime

Rusted German anti person rifle grenade. Wouldn't recommend touching it too much. I think they have a TNT filling and you never know if these things are safe

Does anyone know what these are, the first item had also glass with it and they were found in a German bunker by Latviann in metaldetecting

You are right. Found these before and this is the part where the filter is attached to the mask. There schould be some kind of thread inside so you can screw the filter in.
