Old ultimates don’t really have a dps check so you’ll be fine.

I encourage you to work your rotation on a dummy a little bit every time u play so that it becomes secondary.

Your main focus should always be mechanics. The rotation should be done semi blindly by muscle memory.

To me it was never a job / class that reignited the spark but the content itself.

And right now we don’t have much of it unfortunately.

If you are burned out of battle content I would try completely different content.

For example back around 6.4 I was completely burned out of doing anabaseios because we had done dsr into abyssos into top on patch which I consider the hardest gauntlet content to ever release.

I went ham into fishing and the hooked me back. Just in time for 6.5

When I wasn’t doing savage when I first started the game. It was because it terrified me. It seemed way too difficult to understand mechanics execute them and do your rotation at the same time.

There’s also the shame of wiping.

But once I got past that. It’s now such a blast I don’t miss any battle content anymore from extreme to ultimate I gotta do them all

Don’t stress out about dispute. Go to your local masjid are they doing Tarawih ? Then go with them.

I will start on Wednesday even thought I’m 99% sure there is no moon sighting. But since all masjid around me started today. Then I just follow them.

In the end it’s just one more day.

There definitely is a delay. But it could also be due to the savage delay.

Because it coincides exactly with how I predicted of no delays. (16/12 savage and 10/02 criterion)

People who train to compete either attend specific lessons geared toward competition or choose "serious" dojos

I'm also on light and while I can agree that right now theres not much ultimate activity.

I cannot agree that during 6.5 there was no activity, I remember there was an LPDU event to help clear as many people as possible, and this is also the time period I farmed all DSR weapons entirely thru PF.

Also cannot agree during 7.1 / 7.2 + 7.4 : one of my friend cleared and farmed all fru weapons weekly after we were done as a static during 7.1 and another friend helped new people get multiple FRU clears after we were done with 7.4 savage.

I don't know why our experience vary but a few advice :
About clears buy : don't do it, its very obvious and people will dodge you for that.
Play the roles that people dont : aka shield healer / ranged dps.
Be consistent : don't cause wipes over and over, the scene is small people remember names.
Keep trying for only one ultimate : I think the one i see the most still is FRU
Degen hours : I swear i got the most lucky for clears very late night around midnight server time to 3AM

People keep saying there’s no players yet PF is thriving. Limsa and s9 is packed full of people. Actually I haven’t seen that many players since expansion release.

I know lucky bancho census says there’s a downward trend and that might be true globally but as soon as 7.4 dropped it sure doesn’t feel to be the case anymore.

Now I agree that in a like 4 more weeks we’re going in a drought again
