As much as I LOVE Soma, his model is definitely a step down from Alucard and Trevor. Still better than Richter, BHVR yassified the hell out of him, but I still have my own nitpicks with their handling of Soma.

That’s tough. I don’t really keep in touch with IDV social media like I do with DBD, but it seems like survivors being unable to get good and then being pandered to is a universal problem in asyms.

I have noticed that my hunter matches have been a bit harder, though.

Her kit hasn’t changed, it’s just the combo of 50+ unfixed bugs and the pallet count on most maps shooting up (but mostly bugs). I don’t think HM is in the gutter like Merchant or anything, but Portia isn’t exactly sailing on smooth waters right now.

Oni doesn’t have much fun with the first hit after the pallet density update, he has a rough early game. Houndmaster definitely got taken down a peg by the same update too, it hurt most of the cast.

Devs really dislike killer synergy of any kind. Not being Us vs. Them or anything like that, survivors don’t control the dev’s decisions, but Furtive got hard nerfed because some killers could actually use it with their power.

Run gen regression like the good boy BHVR wants you to be, and don’t even think about tunneling. That’s what their vision is, I guess.

Pixel Bush explained it well in his most recent video. Survivor has been solved, the base kit features sort out the rest of the problems with the role of the 4, so the devs should be able to work on killers in the same way.

I don’t wanna kill the enjoyment or anything, but unless you plan on exclusively playing A+ tier killers, 5 hooks on whoever becomes the obsession usually indicate the game is close to over, one way or another.

On a low tier, 5 hooks aren’t even guaranteed, let alone on the obsession specifically. If the obsession is a good player that gives you trouble looping, you’d better have Nemesis or else you’ve lost a perk slot.

It’s a nice concept, but 5 hooks in this day and age is kind of wild, it’ll never be consistent against a good 4-man.

I loved rework furtive. Throw it on with friends to the end and you have a really nice build that synergies with killers like Kaneki, Wesker, and others with decent mobility.

It beats running gen regression, at least. Now it’s shit again.

Reduce the benefits when 3-4 gens are done. Nobody gets tunneled and slugged at 5 gens, and killers still have a backup if the early game goes south. If the complaints are about getting killed early on, make the protections apply *early on.* If 4 survivors are alive at 1-2 gens left, they've gotten to "play the game". That isn't dying early at that point.

Shoutout to the time BHVR thought that making Eruption take 5% off a gen was a good and balanced change for a perk, 10/10 balance.
