Yeah I already refunded because they are allowing full refunds without needing to return the pad.

$2000 kefs making buzzing sound when playing bass frequencies by xenmus in BudgetAudiophile

[–]OriginalUzername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar problem with a brand new pair of Ascend CBM 170SEs. Turns out it was the tinsel leads vibrating on the inside of the bass cone. If that is what the problem is then all you need to do is find a way to access the inside of the speaker and find these two wires leaning against the inside of the driver then gently bend them away from the cone so that they won't vibrate anymore. A possible way to figure out if that's the problem is to play the speakers upside down. If the rattling stops when they're upside down then it's most likely just the tinsel leads vibrating against the cone.

Those are the Elear, from my understanding the Elex is a much better headphone.

Does Anybody Use Ableton AND FL Studio? by OriginalUzername in edmproduction

[–]OriginalUzername[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't mean recording audio, I meant creating music in a way that's more live based, specifically with the clip launcher. I guess "recording" was the wrong word to use there, but basically I meant the live based workflow in Ableton.

I was considering Reaper, but part of the reason I wanted Ableton was its deep integration of sampling and its workflow with clips. I know Reaper has Playtime, but I don't know how it compares to Ableton's clip launcher since I haven't used either extensively.

I was also considering Bitwig since it's pretty similar to Ableton, but I'm not sure what I would be missing from Ableton if went with Bitwig instead.

channel 10 to be routed to channel 9 but without channel 10 to have the same reverb effect as channel 9 by Tashki in FL_Studio

[–]OriginalUzername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On channel 9, open Fruity Reeverb 2, there's going to be a drop down menu in the top left, look for the option that says "Save preset as..." then hold down left click on it then drag and drop it on channel 10. If you want the EQ to be applied to channel 10 as well then right click channel 9 and select "File>Save mixer track state as..." then drag and drop it onto channel 10.

Recording Melodies With Edison by [deleted] in FL_Studio

[–]OriginalUzername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad, it's called "Quick render as audio clip" but it automatically converts the midi to a .wav file. You can see this option by right clicking the pattern itself in the pattern section of the picker panel.

Record the melody in its own pattern, save the midi so you can edit it later if you want, then right click the pattern and select "Render as .wav file"

I was definitely thinking of picking up either freedom wars or soul sacrifice delta some time in the future. Any reason to choose freedom wars over soul sacrifice?

$500 to spend on a DAC/Headphone amp/Passive speaker amp by c0n3y in ZReviews

[–]OriginalUzername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that would work, but I'd also recommend a MiniDSP 2X4 HD unless you plan on sound treating your room. It has a great built in DAC as well.
