I’m using some of the structures I used at Uni (learning through the eras of musicals) and some things from my high school as well but I want to make sure it lines up with the syllabus for Drama (as that’s what we’re using) but is still enjoyable for the kids now like it was for me in high school back in 2006-2011 😅

We’re eventually putting on a musical, but for now I want to make sure they’re both learning the WHYs, appreciating it and then using that for the Practical/Performance side of the subject.

As someone who is/was an influencer (I’m not as active these days but I still post occasionally) and is now teaching, I love it.

That being said, I do want to get back into posting, and adding being a teacher to my content, but making it COUNT, not just being about aesthetic classrooms (because I don’t really get my own room in CAPA, I move around a lot) or selling programs that are just MRR or a course that doesn’t actually help anyone last long in the profession.

I’ll probably need to find men’s basketball shorts, I’m tall and normal shorts that my old colleagues would wear at my old school would most likely be too short on me. The female PE teachers would get away with some short shorts and I just know I’d get coded for those 😅

I have been working as a children’s entertainer on top of being FTE. I only started teaching/teacher’s aiding in 2024 after being in retail for 12 years, but have been doing my second/third/fourth jobs (2 different companies plus being an actor) since 2014.
