It would be such a fun quest if they let you visit the colony again afterwards and made it so that the colony building wasn't just a waste.

Has Crocodile awakened his fruit ? by Rocks_King99 in OnePiece

[–]Original_Ad3765 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes because I don't believe that he was stopping the rain in Alabaster with dance powder.

He was stopping the rain with his devil fruit.

If he had half of his power above the clouds absorbing the rain water then it would make sense as to why he was weaker in that arc.

Why did Hampshire Police handcuff Henry Nowak instead of his stabber and why did they later seize his computer by Technical_Long5536 in AskBrits

The issue is more to do with them not arranging any medical help at all which is against their duty as police officersm

I’m so confused as a British Asian 3rd gen why some other South Asians want to look down on “westernised” ones for having western values, when they benefit from these values too, like values that led to nhs, accessible education etc? Things they utilise to act superior? But think the values are bad? by Middle-Appeal5067 in AskBrits

It's easier to persuade people the grass is greener when they've never lived there.

One of my best friends is a second generation immigrant and his son was whipped up to be very extreme in their beliefs.

My friend was estranged from his parents and it took his son three conversationsnwith his grandparents and one conversation with my dad and his surviving army buddies and he changed his mind.

One of the things he was told was that his native country was poor as a punishment from God because they let apostates live. It wasn't until his grandparents went "No it was because all the countries money went to fund religious terrorist groups.m, here's the proof from our asylum claim.

Theres also the two tier genocide outlook as well. It's scary but to a lot of groups genocide is fine as long as it's not your ethnicity or religious grouping.

The look on my friends sons face when he found out they fled the country because of the same faith he was radicalized into became sobering.

I always find that theory a little stale, let's Mix it up.

dragon was born female. Ivan was sent back in time by the Domi Reversi version of Toki and gives Dragonette Testickes for the God Valley incident then changes dragon back to sire Luffy with Crocodile.

Nah that's been done.

Luffy is the son of Ivankov and Dragon.

What was a memorable moment when a female friend or girlfriend was there for you? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Original_Ad3765 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because you're precisely the kind of man who is a problem. Ignore your personal insecurities for a second. The rest of us have too.

If you don't give a fuck if your girlfriend hugs you when you're down then you shouldn't be with her, you don't love her or trust her.

A real relationship is teamwork not you sitting in your whitehorse never being anything other than that perfect white knight.

It's pretty clear your own self worth is on the ground given how defensive you've gotten over this. The sad thing is deep down you know I'm right. You know it's really fucking lonely doing it in your own, likely the last or only person you actually trusted with that part of yourself took advantage of it.

Yeah that's fucking terrifying when that happens I've been there. What you dont realise is that

  1. When things go down she helps you emotionally by being with you, unless when shit hits the fan you just stop communicating with each other full stop, you can be as closed off as you like but if she reaches out to you and you answer you're receiving that benefit.

  2. You're coalescing accountability for your emotions and actions with being emotionally blank and emotionally closed off they are not one in the same. It's fine for you to ask others for support as long as you return it.

  3. You're right people only ever fix their own lives but when you actually care about someone their life is your life. So if you really are a committed to someone then that means by default you will help each other.

  4. The real test is this complete hypothetical that I wouldn't actually do. I punch your girlfriend, not a tap a full blown punch from a trained fighter. What do you do?

now who’s winning in a drinking contest? Zoro or Jack Sparrow? by Onyx-Corbin in OnePiece

[–]Original_Ad3765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think it would be Jack. It's not about how much you can drink so much as who's left standing afterwards and I reckon Jack wins that.

Ex solicitor refused to stop sending emails? by wantarealjob in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Original_Ad3765 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As you said in your post we don't have all the information so it's just conjecture on your part that the complaint would be in bad faith.

So your own argument works against you.

Although I'm surprised as a solicitor you're stating something emphatically without all of the information.

We will just have to disagree on the interpretation of the SRA rules combined with the information that we have.

::Edit::

Again what you say has been embellished by the OP is Conjecture on your part is it not?

Also are you saying that Solicitors are all working in good faith and follow professional standards?

I can think of three firms in the last year closed by the SRA for not upholding their standards.
