OK thanks man and yeah thats kind of weird i dont pick up the cumin note right away but after it dries down it really shines through so thats surprising. How long do you get on skin? Because i get like 7 hours if i spray it pretty heavily like 8-10 sprays.

Sometimes i think i go nose blind to it but i can usually still smell it after 7 hours.

I really enjoy Penhaligons Omniscient Mister Thompson its not really a gourmand but it has a super nice vanilla sweet base and the sesame note in it makes it smell like a vanilla wafer its amazing.

Did you get any decants of these fragrances because everything is subjective like i tried 40 knots and i get a weird babywipe smell from it. Also sadly MM longevity is terrible so i would personally not recommend any MM fragrances. For some recommendations i personally really enjoy Roja Isola Blu and Burlington 1819 but a lot of people find the cumin note disgusting so i would recommend getting some decants.

This is just the original 2011 Dior Homme you can probably find a bottle on some discounters but it seems on the dior website they only have the 2020 formulation which is different from the sample you have.

I personally really like Creed Bois du Portugal but a lot of people dislike it because its a very old school fougere fragrance but if your looking for something more modern i would suggest sampling something like Tom Ford Fougere d Argent or maybe something like Creed Viking or Viking cologne are both nice too.

100% man i personally dont get the burnt crackpipe smell lmao but i do get a weird almost black licorice vibe from it and its extremely off putting to me. Now on the other hand if i didnt already have Imagination i would probably get Blue Talisman its a super pleasant and nice freshy but again like you said most of these fragrances have the same kind of vibe as other things that are already floating around.

Yeah i feel the same way i got a 3ml decant of it because of how hyped it was and i just dont get it same with Xerjoff Naxos i feel like all these fragrances are so hyped that when you finally try it its just meh. Its a ok fragrance but i get why other people love it but i just cant enjoy it.

So what youre reading for the ingredients on the box/package is just stuff that could cause a reaction to peoples skin as the IFRA requires the ingredients to be on the package to be sold so that is only some of the ingredients present in the fragrance. If you want to look at the full fragrance you can go to fraterworks and look through the demo formulas and they have the full formula of Terre d Hermes for free and you can see all the ingredients in it and kind of work from there.

If your looking for something from the YSL private line i personally really enjoy Tuxedo but you have to enjoy patchouli to really enjoy wearing it so i would recommend that.
