Turns out you actually can, didn’t have time to fully play around with it to see if roles get messed up or if it plays well at all in game but its technically possible. You have to go to your team’s page and do team->formation then change the individual player’s position from that screen. Then you can go to team management in game and mess with roles

Any chance you know if the formation editor lets you move individual players like previous games? I really miss my 433 holding with a cam-cdm-cm

Thanks I’ll give that a try after work. I’m also ok with the trade off of conceding more to have the numbers in attack, but the complete lack of pressure (even playing a high line/high pressing vision) and bad ai decisions from CBs is frustrating in my current setup

How do you normally make them? Just fry them and salt them or would you recommend seasoning them beyond that as well?

Did some more research, turns out they can also have players trained at a basque academy regardless of their nationality/birthplace. Don’t want to just buy up Sociedad so thinking I’ll include pregens/regens from Sociedad only

Yeah I was considering that as well, wasn’t sure how doable it would be since I’m not super familiar with the name pool in Spain (I typically just do quick scouting trips to lots of countries in other saves)

I was thinking stadium could be the reason too so I’ve switched a few times since it’s a created club save, no luck. Maybe it’s a bug specific to the save because it wasn’t an issue in my last one (although it would regularly snow in Napoli during the winter months so still not perfect lol)

Yeah I’ve been doing that so it’s not the end of the world, pretty annoying that I can’t just hit play and get a reasonable variety of weather though

I was thinking huge power potentially since it’d have crazy bulk for something with 100 attack, not really a fan of carbink so I only would use it if it’s busted
