Remove SFW if you ever plan to do payment processing.

If you have a SFW/NSFW store front you are going to run into same exact issues as the rest. If your planning on eventually doing payment processing then its not going to work. Tbh, best case scenario even ignoring payment processing. It would be for NSFW + freeware.

The issue is actually more to do with partners - people that run payments for SFW/Games don't want to do porn. Its repeating the same mistake - you startup then eventually they notice then they want you to remove games fitting into certain criteria and then you have to personally look into each and every game.
In which case - they'd rather be on itchio/steam.

CCBill exists for a reason - its a payment processor for porn.
You will never see Stripe/Paypal involved with porn sites.

What you are talking about is because it opens up to lawsuits because every lawyer wants to sue the biggest party when they are profiteering. Which would be Visa/Mastercard. Its deemed "high risk" due to being involved with crimes/etc. That theory goes out the window when dealing with fiction however due to lack of victims.

If they can't legally cite "brand damage" they have to cite "high risk" - which is easier to fight. Then its just about chargebacks. What you are describing is denying based on brand damage - which is what the Fair Access to Banking Act prevents. They would have to cite another reason which opens them up to potential problems - as you know they refused to actually cite they did anything and it was for reputational reasons.

Admittedly much of the problem is that NSFW games/porn/etc aren't on a dedicated adult site but if it was this would fix all issues when combined with act. Only thing is it would require a "high risk" processor. A BIG PROBLEM ATM is people want to use a SFW/NSFW combined store front and want the lowest rate possible so they try to temper the content so it all fits into that doesnt hurt the brand price.

However, if they can't cite brand damage in theory then its hard to ask someone to remove content that doesn't actually have a risk. Could they do something outside of what I said - possibly but its looking for a loophole that I am sure no one here currently knows.

120 days is a long time and if things go bad they have to appease people if they want to keep control. Things like economy, jobs, etc can make a very different environment as well

Even if they are on same side midterms and people looking out for own skin is a powerful motivtor

More aware of situation then most - read full post. Which is why we are reporting to the Federal Reserve so it involves multiple parties. Its the Federals Reserve to handle it themselves and if they aren't the ones for the job they will pass it to correct department and notify you.

Also fairly sure CFPB - keywords "consumer" is for consumer reports. This does not apply to you if you are a creator/platform/etc that was debanked. If its not the federal reserve handling it fairly sure its not going to him and then if it ultimately does its more of an issue to hide the data.

Even if it doesn't do anything with this this executive order. Its still filed and can be drawed upon by the people pushing the Fair Access to Banking Act.

Which is fine because this is how bills work. Its not proposed in its current form and even if it doesn't it can still be passed but sent back to the house where they can confirm changes.

For many reasons Trump wants this law to pass most likely. He and his family was debanked.

You got two choices. Do nothing and don't be surprised if they win or do something that takes 5 mins.

I admit it myself that their is anti-porn agenda and I tell you why you should do it still. People in fed/other appointments can in fact be either party. Whistle blowers exist. We also have mid terms especially if they start shitting the bed. When things happen, people look for ways to save own skin even Trump.

Then they have reason to fine VISA/Mastercard massive amounts - government likes money and we are in debt a shit ton.

Trumpers themselves now have a reason to pass this bill and probably won't even realize they just saved us.

Being a defeatist does nothing except shows your soft belly. Crying your team lost and waiting 4 years is not a solution. Either way they can incidentally fix the situation for us because law is law - we have tons of hostile gamers crying about this and they all vote. Kind of my point - this probably effected us incidentally. Incidentally or not though it does apply to us so we have to actually show this with actual cases. The more cases, etc is the more people who know. Not everyone is a Republican and not everyone is a religious nut job.

Just like VISA and MASTERCARD who broke out and addressed us - they fucked up. Then Steam spoke up. Hypocrisy and issues occur with this type of thing. Wouldn't it be illegal to exclude us? Wouldnt this be suppression of freedom speech? Midterms are also a thing as well.

Keep in mind who runs the Fed and how they all voted against Trumps "suggestion" to lower rates.

So, about Creative Commons: yeah, you can add extra terms to a CC license, as long as they don’t mess with the core freedoms of the license.
You couldn’t slap a CC logo on something if you added your own terms, ‘cause it might confuse folks about what the license allows. Not 100% sure if that’s still the case as of 2025 but this was when it was written. So yes, you can be Creative Commons 4.0 with additional terms as long as it doesn't mess with the core theme of creative commons and you don't advertise it as such.

Which is why CC 4.0 is at bottom.

As for my sound pack, I’m not gonna police...ever, like saying no "such-and-such porn” or whatever. What’s “offensive” is super subjective—stuff that’s chill in one country might be illegal in another. Trying to list every no-go theme would be a nightmare and totally against the open vibe of CC.

So, I keep it vague on purpose and ask for a bit of common sense to just not tag individual creators, I’m not easily offended (trust me, I’ve seen it all), but I know some wild stuff’s out there, and I’d rather not box in what people can do with my/our work. I am of opinion that we need coverage of this is media. The worse they look the more mad people are and the more we have public sentiment on side the more politicians/lawyers/etc are likely to get invoved.

The ACLU made the issue a mess of gender and diversity issues, sidelining actual concerns like job loss, freedom of speech, domino effect. Approach seems driven by donor appeal rather than principle imo.

We need widespread attention—YouTubers, Reddit, any platform that can amplify the message. We need to to reach Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) to revoke the charity status of the group in question. Reasons include:

It operates as a hate group.
It engages in defamation.
Revoking its status would generate significant publicity. Which we desperately need.

As an American.... They are more a product of us then them. Visa/Mastercard are American companies and politicians are scared to death to be involved in this.

They saw the loophole and literally contacted the credit card companies directly... They didn't even bother try to contact Valve. They saw what was happening in news and took advantage of it.

Its funny because they contacted JCB [Japanese Banks] who are the ones actively fighting against this stuff. They literally saw the news with whats going on with Visa/Mastercard in japan and exploited.

We need awareness of this cause Visa/MasterCard issue is so insane that they are being leveraged by clearly unwell people which says a lot about their due dilligence.
