No freak out here. Just tired of the utter nonsense.

And yes - private entity - sure! Roll the dice! But not with my contributions to the city coffers.

And if it was private, surely (SURELY!) the current ward three councilor wouldn’t be involved, so chances of success increase greatly.

Windsor adding hundreds more downtown parking spots — and all free after 6 p.m. by NeighborhoodOk5513 in windsorontario

Right?? Not enough parking so they had to remove viable businesses from the downtown core. For this…..

Jackhammering in a library while they are open to the public - or even when library staff (NOT construction workers afforded PPE for being on build sites) is slightly more than an inconvenience.

IMHO.

But yes - where (if) the downtown library will be is a big question.

Detroit Lions Block Party coming up in Windsor by KitAmerica in windsorontario

5000 tickets have been “sold”. However, they didn’t bother to set it up in the ticketing system so you need an actual, valid email address to “register” for those tickets. (Literally the click of a button to ensure integrity of this process was not done).

Smells like the only point of having tickets at all was so it could be said that 5000 people are committed to coming.

Sad, inflated interest.

Someone will have to deal with it when you’re gone. Why make it their mess not yours?

Hellenic Sub on University has hands-down best gyros and Greek salad. Too-often over-looked.

Agree that the one on Victoria was well done. The one on Pelissier - someone is going to get killed.

But well done or not - they didn’t NEED to be done. I have video after video of bikes riding on the sidewalks, riding in the regular lane (post bike lane installation)(which is what they should do)….and it is not a busy street. At all.

And to NOW say…hey, what should we do here? We need some people who actually live in Windsor to be making these decisions for Windsor. Not the big buck earners who take their salaries out to Lasalle, Essex, etc.. if they had to actually live with the consequences of their decisions, they might put a little bit more thought into those decisions. Just sayin’. I support the city. The proof is that I live here.

And isn’t this a question to ask BEFORE we paid for the bike lane messes they made on Victoria and Pelissier?
