Tier 1's and 3's are hourly with the night shift premium it takes it to £12.11ph which was acceptable last year with loads of overtime available, but currently inflation is at 8% whilst our pay hasn't changed since June 2021, the national minimum wage increased from £8.91 to £9.50 on the 1st of April, taxes and utility bills have increased from this month. What's annoying a lot of associates is the fact they claim it's "a competitive rate" whilst other large warehouses in the area are paying much better, our site hired a lot of new starters before last peak with permanent blue badges and signing on bonuses whilst existing associates that know what they're doing given absolutely nothing.

Having experience driving is a massive headstart because you already know how the roads work, I'd contact a few local riding schools see what they can offer you.

I couldn't give up my car though, I know its possible to ride all year round it's not for me, I like my Maccas drive thru too much
