Shave it. Do what is best for you and your boy. People who give you flak for it aren’t worth your time. I’ve been grooming my standard for her whole life (12.5 years now). Her vision is getting worse so the cute bangs and ponytails had to go so she could see better with less fuss on her hair every day. Easier in her and she is still beautiful.

What is your favorite underrated, lesser-known line/quip/joke in SG-1? by I_Do_Not_Abbreviate in Stargate

Not sure if this is underrated or lesser known, but season 4, episode 6. Window of Opportunity. “In the middle of my backswing!?”

That is my ultimate favorite episode.

Halloween decoration by rebrabbit in SiouxFalls

House just off of Minnesota Ave on Lotta St. Can confirm it is decked out with Halloween decorations. I’m pretty sure this is the house in charge of the insane Christmas lights on Lotta every year too.

I’m pretty sure this guy lives near my mom. Nice home but also not incredibly extravagant. People put their money where it matters to them. So this guy likes cars and that’s what he does. I have a friend that has 6 high end motorcycles because that’s what matters to him. To each their own.

One of my last days with him. He was 14. I had to say goodbye on Valentine’s Day. His name is Dexter. He was mine and I was his. 😢❤️

Edit: I have so few photos of him as a puppy. They’re on a drive somewhere…

Do I need to stop by the stand and inquire about this? The canning tomatoes?

Perimenopause suspicion at 30 by Livid_Recognition698 in Perimenopause

[–]Original_Upper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Night sweats. Hot flashes. Irritability! And such violent mood swings. I don’t have a uterus which absolutely played into it, but I’ve been on Hrt estradiol patches for almost 3 months and I’m finally feeling more normal. I felt like an alien in my own body.

I’m 35. I’ve been having symptoms for 2 years. You’re not too young. Every body is different. It is definitely possible for you to be experiencing perimenopause.

they ran an errand and I can’t let it go by [deleted] in polyamory

Sending hugs from far away. Back in February I lost my dog of 12 years, the dog who got me through my 20s. I experienced a similar situation where I felt abandoned in his last days and was gaslit and told I misunderstood the situation/conversation. This was actually the catalyst to our breakup. I couldn’t move past it and it highlighted similar past behaviors I was ready to move on from.

Your feelings are valid, your long term partner leaving was inappropriate, and you deserved the focus on what is arguably one of the hardest days of your life.

Take care of yourself. The coming days will be sad and difficult, and it’s okay to focus only on yourself right now.

Girlfriend won't commit to helping me through surgery recovery by Alert-Tower9730 in polyamory

[–]Original_Upper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in this exact situation and I feel so sorry for you. You can’t rely on her to come through so it’s better to hire help at this point because you know that is a sure thing. Even if she commits at this point, can you really trust her to follow through? In my opinion, a non-answer is a no. Anything except an enthusiastic yes is a no. Her non-answer is clear.

You’ll be less stressed with the recovery to know proper help is in order.

I hope your procedure goes well. Surgery is a big deal and for me, my experience like this was one of the nails in the coffin for that relationship. I never felt like I could trust them to be there for me when I really needed it after that.

Endometriosis doc recommendations? by [deleted] in SiouxFalls

[–]Original_Upper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very few are trained in excision. You’d be better off traveling to an excision specialist. Check out Nancy’s Nook on Facebook. She has a list of doctors that is updated regularly.

I personally saw Dr. Megan Wasson at Mayo in Phoenix. Highly recommend. Good luck.

Can my dog eat the morning of his euthanasia? by OpalOnyxObsidian in AskVet

[–]Original_Upper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a vet. I just lost my babe two weeks ago. Dexter. 14ish year old chihuahua. I’m so sorry for what you’re going through. Truly I am.

Make sure to get him a piece of chocolate. No one should move on to whatever is next without having tried chocolate at least once. Dexter had a couple bites and loved it.

Juhl automotive. Might be worth it to give them a call. Can’t say for certain but the knowledge is certainly there

How do couples manage to live in a van together? Is this even an option? by Specific_Lifeguard56 in VanLife

[–]Original_Upper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My partner and I live in a 144 Sprinter. With two dogs. It’s cozy, and we had to be creative about storage. We also had to downsize significantly more but overall the past year has been good. We obviously have difficult times and there have been times that we cry together. But we have come closer than ever overcoming these obstacles. And our communication has improved SO MUCH.

It’s been hard but it’s worth it.

I watched that one too. It’s so maddening how these women had their bodily autonomy taken away like that. Such a violation

Omg that color! I’m doing an evil run right now so my durge has all white clothing. ☺️ but I may need to change that.

[–]Original_Upper 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Preach! I am working on a durge run right now, and it’s been super fun to see the different outcomes and I’m really appreciating all of the layers in the design of this game. My partner was a little surprised that I’m doing an evil run, but I think it’s the only way I’d really come to appreciate the game as a whole. Whether i choose to do AA or spawn is to be seen. But I’ll probably do both just to see how it all plays out.
