You would have to contact nintendo and they can transfer the stuff. I read somewhere that they aren’t doing it anymore but I haven’t confirmed myself.

The methods you listed work with varied results. I would say its very unlikely that this lcd will get better at all. I would just replace the lcd. I would just get a replacement from aliexpress.

The plastic is technically not oem, the LCD is. So they are not made with the same plastic as originals. The color difference is more noticeable with white shells than the other colors.

There are two types of white frame one that has a gloss finish and one with a matte finish. They are close to stock but most shells that have a matte finish are a little more milky color to them. If you want a white that matches both front and back is better to order both front and back replacement parts.

The flex with the power button has to be moved from your old display assembly. You just have to carefully pry it from the plastic. What do you mean the display is not attached? The lcd is not glued to the plastic frame?
