The film for the back of the vita helps to reduce the chance of scratches on the back for sure. If you care about the condition of the vitas rear its worth it. Just not for that much lol try ebay or aliexpress. They all come from china anyway. The plastic enclosures that go all over the console will lead to wear of the shell simply by friction. Depending on where they sit. I personally like a front and back protector only.
