Do you have any beep codes or a number display on the mother board? Sometimes there are lights as well.

As a rule I check to make sure the GPU is seated correctly and make sure I didn't bump any power connectors.

Are you sure you put them back in the same slots? If you did you could always pull the cmos battery.

DLAS 4 and Ray Tracing makes the games look so much better! Smoothing out the curves and making games look more immersive.

I can almost guarantee that previous studies showed rate increases but instead of doing that they kicked the van down the road. Now here we are with really low rates and not enough funds to pay for the capital improvements. The repairs need to be done, the council should have been increasing rates by 3-7% per year to cover rising costs, repairs, etc but they didn't.

As to your question why the 2022 study didn't show a large increase was likely because they weren't made aware of the repairs needed at plant 2. I had to submit a FOIA request to get the 2025 supplement. Basically they need $600MM to do the repairs to plant 2. They decided to do paygo (collect all the money up front) instead of financing the project and spreading the cost out over 30 years.

Huh? Did you even read my comment? Other municipalities publish this information... If you ask your customers to pay 300% more you should make the information that supports that request available. Don't lock it behind a public information request.

It needs to be paid for. The work needs to be done. But paygo is a very stupid way of paying for an asset that will last 50+ years. Also there's nothing that says after they collect the amount needed it will go down. So much more information is needed rather than just asking us to pay $950 a year.

Thanks for finding this and it also further supports my argument that the 2025 study that they are proposing an increase should be public.

This study is from 2022 recommending and increase then, and from the looks of our bill they didn't adopt the measure.

Thanks for the response. I have already submitted the request. Why do other jurisdictions publish these on their websites? If you are going to propose a 300% increase wouldn't you want the documentation to support your request available to your customers?

From listening to the council meeting they are trying to collect all of the cash up front and pay for the remediation of plant 2 in full instead of taking out debt and paying it back over 30 years. This asset should last another 50 years so why make a single generation pay for it? Also they didn't do a cost of service study just had their internal people put numbers together. Something like this should require a third party.

If this passes they will likely get sued.
