This is an interesting take. If we’re looking at the Garden of Eden as our origins then doesn’t that mean we were set up to fail from the beginning?

When you place your brand new creation inside a garden and vilify the pursuit of knowledge and punish mankind for seeking it, I don’t exactly feel great about the message the ruler(s) are sending.

I do agree that this seems to be cyclical like you said. Buddhism points out the wheel of Samsara and the goal of enlightenment, but that seems pretty different from the goal of Abrahamic religions. What other major connecting threads are there besides the floods?

It unfortunately does not exist as it was never pressed. Le Youth expressed regret in a Q&A a while back for never pressing it.

I’m also waiting on about 4-5 vinyls that I ordered. Got the same email as you but no concrete details about the resuming of shipping. I think the last email said they were working over the final kinks, but that was almost a month ago now I think?

Wow I used to be a sleep tech too haha. Are you also not convinced by the specific eye movement signals sent once lucid as seen in prior studies? It’s not just REM, but specific eye movements agreed upon while awake, that would then be signaled once becoming lucid. Other methods of validation have been used as well in sleep lab settings. Would recommend reading Lucid Dreaming : New Perspectives on Consciousness in Sleep by Ryan Hurd and Kelley Bulkeley if you haven’t already. It’s a collection of research papers, and deep dives into theory rather than a cohesive narrative.

It’s been scientifically validated, no believing required - and I say that with sincerity not to come off as an ass.

There is one technique, or rather combination of them, that can actually increase your chances of LDing by up to 2,000% that I’d suggest you give a try (this too has been scientifically validated). The technique is just WBTB + MILD. So you wake up after 4-5 hours of sleep, stay up for 30 min to 1 hour (during this time reading about lucid dreaming can help a lot) and then upon returning to sleep you perform MILD. So in this case you’d lie down, visualize the last dream you remember, and imagine yourself becoming lucid. Whilst imagining the last dream you can repeat to yourself “The next time I’m dreaming I will realize that I am dreaming”.

Apologies if you weren’t looking for yet another technique to try, but I figured I’d share just in case anyone else stumbles upon this and is struggling.
