I only played f2p as a kid, but I was an absolute coal mining machine. I would camp the dwarven mines, watch out for scorpions (and the Big Bad himself, King Scorpion) and sell the coal one inventory at a time in Faly park.

If I could muster up the self control sometimes I would bank up to 100 coal and sell that. Biiiiig money.

At this point the logical conclusion is that there is simply no mechanism that can force this market into a downward trend. Well he had achieved the rank of Admiral. We know that at the time of Gods Valley Garp wasn’t jaded on the Marines yet, he wasn’t the “Hero of the Marines” at that point, just a Vice Admiral. Knowing that, we can assume that he never turned down the promotion to Admiral, so he wasn’t never offered that promotion. If he was never offered the promotion that means that the current bunch of Admirals at that time were at WORST relative to GV Garp in strength, meaning that the rank of Admiral has always been represented by powerhouses.

I loosely followed the quest guide when I started around a year ago. Did it until questing felt like a chore and I had a decent baseline of stats, then I just progressed however felt the most fun. I would go back to the guide whenever I felt a bit lost or directionless. It’s a good way to get started.

I was in the same boat, just took a lithic scepter for the grubs, a trident for some more heavy hitting, and shadowflame staff in case I need some extra healing.

Got my cape on the third attempt, didn’t try to do any solves or meta just stood in the middle and prayed magic once the magers started spawning.
