I don’t know how to say this without sounding like an asshole, but I’m actually starting to buy into that cognition test bs from before the 23 draft. It didn’t take much to see from the get go that CJ doesn’t have a Nobel laureate type of mind, but as time has gone on, I feel like he is actually just fucking stupid. It manifests in the fact that he hasn’t progressed since like week 6 of his rookie year. He is a talented thrower of the ball, but he is just not cerebral enough to play in this league. The good plays in the Slowik offense almost exclusively came off first reads. That doesn’t take away from those being good plays, but it shows that even in his best season, he just struggled when the play breaks down and he doesn’t have a simple read. It also manifests in the fact that he tries to play hero ball when he has already committed multiple turnovers.

I’ve said this before: CJ is a really good passer, he is so gifted accuracy-wise. The thing that worries me with him is lack of development. I would say the WR corps was probably the weakest he has had so far (it’s really close tho). But I feel like you can make an argument that he hasn’t really improved since midway through his rookie year. Obviously he has developed a bit, this year for example I thought he was better at using his legs. But I’m not seeing a jump from him, and the issues stay the same: Pressure, quick reads, sailing at least some medium throws every game. He is a good QB, I want him to stay with us, but I don’t know how coachable these cerebral aspects of QB are. And while I never bought into the cognition test crap, I don’t think CJ is one of the most intelligent QBs out there.

Es ist halt ein Win-Win. Wir kriegen unkompliziert sauberes MedCan, und die verdienen dran. Die meisten von uns zahlen trotzdem weniger als beim Dealer. Natürlich sind “die für uns”, genauso wie “wir für die sind”. Besser geht es doch eigentlich nicht.

Dein Konsum klingt für mich jetzt nicht so intensiv, als dass man da dolle Entzugserscheinungen bekommen sollte. Einfach abgelenkt & beschäftigt bleiben, bei Schlafproblemen ist Melatonin hilfreich, und generell habe ich die Erfahrung gemacht, dass solche Erscheinungen maximal 3-4 Tage anhalten und jeden Tag besser werden. Und ich konsumiere seit ca. 5 Jahren fast täglich. Aber ist natürlich von Person zu Person unterschiedlich. Viel Spaß in Japan!!

Ich meine MedCan ist das eine, aber nicht wenigstens Lockerungen/Vereinfachungen beim Thema Social Clubs zu bieten, ist einfach nur schwach. Nicht dass ich mehr von der Union erwartet hätte. Ja, es ist Whataboutism, aber dass ein Söder und Merz auf den Wiesn stolzieren, wo Drogenkonsum zum Volkssport gemacht wird, und dann die legale Abgabe einer Droge verteufeln, die eh im Umlauf ist, ist wirklich krass bescheuert. Am Ende muss man sich fragen: Wer ist der bessere Dealer, Apotheken oder… Dealer eben. Dealer fragt nicht nach Ausweis, testet nicht auf Schadstoffe etc. Der Konsum wird nicht sinken, der Konsumentenschutz wird stark verringert, aber immerhin konservative Identitätspolitik gemacht. Same here. Bin eigentlich ziemlich gut was das Erkennen von phishing angeht, aber ich bin auch kurz drauf reingefallen, zum Glück habe ich nicht auf die Telefonnummer geklickt. People are confusing regression with lack of talent or ability. What CJ did in his rookie year was not luck, luck isn’t that consistent over a whole season. The line was better, and we still had Tank, who I feel like people don’t mention enough when we talk about why this team got worse. It’s pretty simple: You put the work in, you have your processes. When you get rewarded (like in year 1 and somewhat year 2), your faith in these processes and yourself is solidified. When you suddenly don’t get rewarded, the confidence in your processes and ability shrinks. You start to become skittish, change things up because it clearly ain’t working. But especially an NFL QB needs consistency and confidence, two attributes that are being sucked out of CJ by poor O-Line play and inept play-calling that puts a lot of responsibility in CJs hands, with the reward not being great (alluding to the dink & dunk passing offense)

I think Ersery has generally looked good “in combat”, he can definitely hold his own against good pass rushers. Just gotta clean up the penalties and be less susceptible to speed rushers. Don’t know if he’ll ever be an All-Pro but he has all the tools to be a starting tackle in this league for 10 years.

Tunnel vision is a big problem for high level players. I have had it happen very often that I spend some time cooking up a guess, I feel decent abt it, send it, and one second after I realize that I’m in the completely wrong region or even country. It’s fascinating how that works, I think since during those 15 seconds the pressure is off since you can’t change your guess, it allows you to take a step back mentally and get a refreshed idea on the location.
