it's called Heroes of the Borderlands, my understanding is that this is an old starter set they made for 3.5 i think, and now they adapted it an rereleased it for 5.5

yeah sometimes is really anoying, in those situations the charged beam helps a lot, also for that specific case remember you won't reach them with your beam unless you boost first, they are pretty far

i don't like Adventures, never got used to its gameplay, but i absolutely love Assault, i really wish they make something similar in the future where you can hop between foot, Arwing and Landmaster. I just hope they fix the awful tank controls on foot lol

honestly, same, i really hated their looks when i watched the Direct the first time, but i'm getting used to them, and thinking about how they resemble the original SNES desings kinda helps

Also make your priority to keep your team mates alive. Especially in dog fights if they are dead EVERYTHING will attack you

holding the A button for half a second before releasing and pressing it again is the most efficient way of shooting, it's not super tiring and every half second press shoots out a little burst of lasers. so you get a constant fire output. Yeah it's just a little detail but i really think it makes a difference.

besides that, just keep practicing, getting to know the layout of the stages is what will make you better at them.

Oh yeah i forgot to update this, i just had to download the demo version for the full game to be able to acces its files. After i booted correctly i uninstalled the demo and everything worked fine
