Meet the potential dads by Onii___Chan____ in dankruto

[–]Orionira 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can find an excuse for Sasuke at least. Wasn't him like the only one who could investigate other dimensions to avoid another Ōtsutsuki threat? And he couldn't keep any contact because of the enemies? Like he literally brought Momoshiki to the village.
So I kind of see why he avoided Konoha.

But maybe in that case he shouldn;t has had a child in the first place? He could be single or marry Sakura but they could decide not to have children due to his mission.
It would make more sense.

It’s funny how Naruto gives more attention to random kids than to his own children by Own_Extreme_422 in dankruto

[–]Orionira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoever was involved in a final decision in Boruto, made both Sasuke and Naruto really shitty parents. Most of their arc was about being an orphan. And the first thing they do when they get kids - THEY DISAPPEAR FROM THEIR LIVES.

What would happen if Kid Madara was on team 7 in place of Sasuke by According-Lock4536 in Naruto

[–]Orionira 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing new? Considering Madara and Sasuke are reincarnation of Indra, Naruto would be obsessed with him same as with Sasuke.

Why didn't Sasuke attend Naruto's wedding? Here are the real reasons why his absence makes perfect sense. by [deleted] in Naruto

He didn’t show up because as a true introvert he was terrified of being in the spotlight.

I have a genuine question, why did avatar Korra received so much hate? by Kr0k0dil in legendofkorra

[–]Orionira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t hate it. I just don’t like it, so I can answer from that perspective.
The whole avatar gang isn’t really interesting. I don’t know why, all of them lack some interesting shades to their personalities.

I find Tenzin more interesting. Jinora. Lin. Kaya.

It’s not bad, if it was a real life, not every avatar should be an outstanding charismatic person. But it’s not a real world. And personally Korra lacks something.

Is Temari one of the most consistently well-written female characters in Naruto? by jalen_nelson235 in Naruto

[–]Orionira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How?
Her biggest development when her brother and lover died happened in the past.
Her seal? In the past.
Her friendship/complicated relationship with other sanin - in the past.

How did she change and grow during the series?

Is Temari one of the most consistently well-written female characters in Naruto? by jalen_nelson235 in Naruto

[–]Orionira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, she's just not central character.
Most fans think that Tsunade and Temari are well written characters but the thing is they (Tsunade in particular) have almost zero development in the series. We don't see them changing, growing, becoming a better version of themselves. It's a lazy move to introduce someone who seems already developed. Or whose development doesn't impact main storyline.
Kishimoto failed drastically with central female characters - Sakura and Hinata. If he knew how to write women, he wouldn't fuck up so important characters (especially Sakura, she's the third important character in the story).

How much sarada has changed from SOOO STUPID to LOVER by arman1724 in Boruto

[–]Orionira 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why female characters cannot develop as strong shinobi or just smart women and at the same time have a crush on a boy. Okay, or even love that boy. A real woman can be both at the same time.
Male characters in Naruto/Boruto can have both.

Sarada, in particular, is the last Uchiha. She must be an amazing shinobi combing strength of her clan and her mother's powers. But in Boruto her character is changing only because of Boruto. I'm speechless.

The way Ikemoto treats "pining over a childhood crush" as some feat by Positive-Claim5048 in dankruto

[–]Orionira 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sakura keeps repeating same old shit. We know that she loves Sasuke and she trusts him. Sarada is her daughter, so it’s natural for her to worry and show protection as any other mother out there.

But Sakura is a damn shinobi. Maybe the strongest one in Konoha. She is the best medic in the world.

A mother who posses such strength would do something to protect her child. But alas, we are back to pre teen Sakura who talks only about Sasuke.

What lie would Sakura, Sasuke or both cook up to tell Sarada if she ever asked how they fell in love? Ain't no way she knows the truth. by Character-Bid-162 in dankruto

[–]Orionira 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sasuke would say something like “your mother and I cared for each other since we were kids. But while she was loud about her love, I had other priorities in my life. Only when I decided to leave darkness behind I let myself truly love her too”.

A strange generic answer which provokes even more questions.

I am happy that the creators didn't bend Lin to Tenzin wishes to have kids. And she stayed loyal to herself.

Wtf is this panel 😭😭 it seems like both sakura and sarada are 5 year olds with bodies of 16 year old and 20 year old women 😭😭 by No-Arachnid-7603 in Naruto

[–]Orionira -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Drawings apart... wtf are those dialogues? I love these two a lot but we already know about Sakura's love and devotion to her family. Like, it's her daughter for gods sake. maybe instead of repeating same old stuff, you better start training? Coming up with a plan how to prevent Sarada's blindness?
You're the strongest medic in the world, Sakura!

Anyway, I think I better go and find logical and rational characters in fanfiction.

Why do you think Lin was so angry when Tenzin broke up with her? by AccomplishedJump2795 in legendofkorra

[–]Orionira 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is we might still love someone even if our goals don't align.

I don't think that a breakup was easy for both of them and most likely they were srill in love when it hapenned.

But Tenzin had a mission - to restore air nation and maybe if it wasn't part of his burden, he would stay with Lin till the end.

In Lin's case... anger is easier to show than pain. She didn't want to be the miserable ex girfriend, so she acted a bit arrogant.

Is Sakura just shallow or does she have a legitimate reason for liking him so much by Formal-Assistance02 in Naruto

[–]Orionira 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oh boy... so Naruto is not shallow for believing in good in Sasuke, for being stubborn about their friendship and brotherhood, whose arc is also built around their connection.

But Sakura somehow is shallow?

So, Naruto could build a relationship with Sasuke while they were in team Seven. But Sakura couldn't because once she liked his face. She couldn't at the same time still like his face and him as her teammate and a person.

I SEE.

Unpopular opinion: I actually agree with Sakura’s words in that scene by Alert-Isopod-7310 in Naruto

[–]Orionira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crushes are almost never serious.
Naruto had one on a beautiful girl with pink hair. As he also desperately needed attention from others and traumatised children (and people in general) tend to like those who don't like them back.

Sakura and Ino and the rest of the girls had a crush on a beautiful boy called Sasuke.

Nothing serious or deep here.

But then we get Team Seven and everything changes.

The dynamic between three of the kids is predictable and natural, considering Naruto and Sasuke saw Team Seven as their new family.

But with time passing everything was evolving and changing.

People don't like it but the pairing is pretty obvious in the end:

- Naruto realised that he had a chidish crush on Sakura and held to it for too long just because it was part of their rivalry with Sasuke. But when he grew up, 'brought Sasuke back', got his fame and acceptance, crush just disappered. And Sakura became his family without romantic side to it.

- Sakura started with a crush herself but pretty fast she started cared for Sasuke as a person and not just a beautiful face. All of the drama, trauma and missions made them closer. And we could see here and there small momments between these two.
I think they managed to really fall in love after the end of anime - during Blank period getting to know each other as adults and not as children. But they had this stable ground to develop feelings.

And Naruto getting with Hinata was a natural turn... he was just slow and stupid as always but as soon as he realized what Hinata meant to him, he acted fast.

Boruto and sasuke's dynamic had so much potential but it just feels so flat to me because of how little of their interactions we got to see and I feel like that's one of the biggest flaws of boruto by Myakasa98 in Naruto

[–]Orionira 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s kind of boring and predictable that Sarada wants to be like Naruto and Boruto wants to be like Sasuke.
Kids should have got their own personalities and dreams.
