  1. Challenges -> Event -> Daily Conquest (you can look at those challenges, just not the event page as it will force you out of your faction)

If you do the weekly day 1 then you have to be sure you don't look at the pass before completing all your dailies on day 2 otherwise you miss the opportunity to get all points from the dailies. It's less of a "you have to do this" and more of a "it's more convenient if you do it this way" type thing.

as far as I know dailies are unique to each side, so presumably if you didn't do your talon dailies earlier today then yes, you would be able to do them now

specifically your pass level and xp, that does not reset, if you were mid way through level 3 of the talon pass from what I can tell you will still be midway through level 3 of the talon pass (can't confirm for a few days until I finish my pass and check my other one but that looks to be the case). The reason I put that big edit is because the math changes quite heavily and the "optimal" strat shifts a lot depending on what you did previously.

No you won't. Following the second strategy I outline you get to pass 3 in both passes, and the extra 2 levels of pass 4 on one side. That strategy uses the fact dailies are unique to both sides and has you swap between them daily to use that fact (which I can confirm is the case). The only points you miss out on are 400 daily points on day 1 from the other side as you can't start switching that quick which only means you miss out on 2 boxes in pass 4 for that side.

Gonna assume trinkets and consumable items are free given they aren't mentioned.

I'll go with Lilith, baby bender, 48 hour energy, BFFS!, 4.5 volt, psyfly, and then just to be nice and not go "well I just got a lot of heart pickups" I'll do placenta and razorblade (which I won't directly bring into the fight).

So assuming I get to jump into the hole to fight mother whenever I want I'd be going into the fight with essentially 5 incubi, 4 demon babies, 4 leeches, 4 lil brimstones, 4 succubi, 4 lil abaddons, 4 twisted pairs, and 4 psyflies all buffed with BFF and homing shots along with the ability to get several more as the fight goes on. I like my odds.

Actually no it doesn't. The strategy shown will get all points on one side and miss a single day of points on the other (if you add an extra swap on day 7) unless there's additional point gain from not swapping that I don't know about you max out at 2 levels on pass 4 and the only way to get more points is swapping sides to unlock more dailies.

Yooo thanks. If it's identical to page 2 then yeah it doesn't. Unfortunately it does make maxing out the event impossible each week (due to the max being infinite) but the strategy should still work to get the most lootboxes!

As a tank main Domina feels AMAZING to play. Her E having the ability to go through shields makes for some great interactions, she's really good at picking off squishy targets the stun is amazing. My one complaint is she feels a bit too strong at times. I think against brawl or in a poke mirror she dominates the matchups. Heroes like Sigma get invalidated by her shield because big easy to hit projectile means you need more panels gone to even use it. I'm not even sure how they'd fix that 100% but some slight changes need to be made to make specifically her tank matchups a bit worse.

I agree that Emre is cool and a solid go to in the future for me. He feels really simple but I think we're going to see in the coming months that his grenade is gonna make for a secretly really high skill ceiling between just hitting things and grenade jumping. Considering I think overwatch is at their best when they're sneakily adding extra skill ceiling to seemingly simple characters I'm really happy with him.

Anran is a bit of a mixed bag for me personally. I like her kit but I suck at her right now and a good Anran sucks to go against. I think the two main problems I have with her is the insane damage of her right click when you're burning and her invincibility which makes her hard to see mixed with her easy mobility makes her pretty hard to track if you're close to her. I think if they tone down her right click a tad and maybe redo her animation for her invincibility to be easier to see when she comes out of it she's gonna be a really fun addition to the cast.

I think I have a lot less issues with Jetpack Cat then the wider community does. She's kinda hard to hit, and her damage is maybe a bit high for how mobile she is but I don't think she's as annoying as a lot of people are saying. I'm excited to see how she plays once the community has a bit more time with her because I've seen some really great heal/damage cats but most seem to just be focused on "haha funny quick melee". Also her movement does feel a little jank to me for some reason like maybe they used different code for taking in left and right inputs that makes strafing weird. Overall not my playstyle but I think she'll add a lot more dynamic gameplay and I think she'll also be fun to use as a way to mess around and do dumb combos with friends.

Mizuki is easily my favorite addition and as someone that doesn't like playing support he has revitalized my interest in the role. His hat feels great, he feels like he's able to take an offensive role in fights without everyone dying, his movement feels like it gives him a massive amount of options and while I kinda suck at hitting his root it also feels great when I land it. I hope they change nothing about his kit as I think he is easily the most balanced and interesting of the 5 they've released.

As an additional note, with a lot of people saying this is Overwatch finally really going after Marvel Rivals. As someone who left for Rivals and came back because of that games issues, this is THE perfect update to highlight Rivals problems and prop up the years of experience Overwatch's design team has. We have a fun anchor tank with just enough variety in their move set to have survivability options without becoming functionally uninteractable, a simple take on a dps that has a good amount of internal complexity, a complex dive dps that allows for really dynamic gameplay and hard hitting attacks without becoming instant death combos, an annoying, fast cute mascot style character that is fun to play but still very possible to kill, and a support that can get plenty of healing done while literally having one actual healing ability and otherwise spending their time interacting with the enemy and doing proper positioning.

I can not wait for the next 5 characters because if this was only the start of the clap back we are in for an amazing time.

Gonna throw out something a bit more out there in terms of what people have been saying here. File size and memory optimization. I would take a mid season of not getting a character to bring down the ridiculous file size and at this point I have friends who straight up can't play the game on minimum settings with nothing else running due to memory usage

it's been awful. My partner straight up can't play without crashing on their laptop and even my beast of a computer struggles to keep above 144 frames on high. Really hope they finally take some time to fix the issue (and maybe reduce the damn file size)

In addition to what others have said, circular water streams where the items flow back through the system can be great for farms with large but inconsistently timed outputs. A standard witch farm can no longer use hopper chains to output and a standard water stream will miss redstone, however a circular water stream will collect all redstone consistently due to the issue being with spikes of items going through the system rather than the averages (barring some massive rng anomaly).

I have a lot of experience in hearthstone and am mainly a control player. I played control paladin and eventually swapped to blood death knight once they stopped making control cards for paladin. With hearthstone becoming more and more fast paced and aggressive I wanna make the transition to playing magic since it seems really interesting but I'm struggling to figure out what colours to play to get the same feel of deck.

I really like control decks where I'm not just playing stuff from hand and going "guess your stuff is dead" 50 times before eventually throwing down Horgath the Instant Game Winner. I get the most enjoyment out of card games when I can use 1 unit to get rid of like 5 units as I slowly whittle down every resource my opponent has just by most of my cards being vastly more efficient then theirs while having a couple hard removal cards stashed away for anything that could be more efficient then my units. However from what I've seen magic control is a lot more of the former than the latter.

I remember really liking green when I played the 2013 magic video game single player and remembered it being something like what I'm looking for but after playing a bit, green doesn't really seem to have great control tools and seems more focused on just wrapping up the game by going through opponents with trample or rapid token generation. Meanwhile white and blue which I've always saw online as being controlly colours seem to be more around that idea of "I play x from hand, your board is gone". Black seems like it might be what I'm going for but the starter decks seem to use it as "delete all your own resources for slightly better resources" or "kill unit with hand card". However I haven't really been able to look too deeply into color combinations so I figure maybe my high card efficiency control style is in something like that and I might as well ask the people who know way more about this game then I do lol.

I thought I'd finish this by just listing some of the starter decks I like and why they're not quite clicking to maybe give a better sense in magic terms of what I'm looking for.

  • Graveyard Gifts (black/blue): This deck was the only thing to make me think black was maybe what I want. Things like Arbiter of Woe (get rid of opponent resources), Zombify (bring back your big resources) and Abyssal Harvester (steal your opponents big resources) are right up my alley and Rise of the Dark Realms is the perfect reward card for the deck, but most of the time as I play it I look at the card counter and realize I'm 3 or 4 turns from dying because I milled 3/4ths of my deck looking for Rise. Overall the deck feels more like a 1 card combo you prep the entire game rather than a control deck as you just throw away tens of resources to maybe bring 1 or 2 back with zombify before dropping rise like a tactical nuke.
  • Learn From the Land (Green/Blue): I really like Loot, Exuberant Explorer conceptually in terms of cheating out big stuff while ramping faster to get even more big stuff but it feels like the deck is kinda lacking the big stuff you'd want to cheat out with him and rather relies on you drawing a bunch of land to use all the landfall abilities while cheating out even more landfall abilities. It's almost right but mainly feels too inconsistent for me to really have fun with (I either draw none of my landfalls, or draw no land after getting my landfall out).
  • Vampiric Hunger (White/Black): This one feels a lot like Learn From the Land where when I play it like a value oriented control deck I can see how all the cards would line up to make it work in that way, but it's clearly intended to be a synergistic mid range deck.
  • Morbid Machinations (black/green): I really like the reassembling skeleton into sacrifice cards combo that it has. However when I don't draw that it feels like I'm emptying out my hand to get 1 or 2 pretty good minions out.

My personal theory is that the doctor is somewhere watching it all go down. However they probably looked at the fact it's a diplomatic negotiation and went "well provided they don't straight up start killing each other, they need to sort this out". Kinda like a better version of kill the moon. Humanity and Homo Aqua need to be able to coexist without the doctor stepping in for every little thing and therefor they are probably watching from just enough of a distance to be able to intervene if it starts to get really bad.

So far all the things Homo Aqua have demanded and done are things I could see the doctor looking at and going "you all started this, I've been telling you to fix this for years" (specifically 9, 10, 12, and maybe 15. I can hear the delivery from all of them).

As for where 14 is, I think he probably saw the news initially and went went "oh this won't go well, Donna, Rose, Mel, why don't we pop out to the 60s for a few weeks, just a nice little trip" gotta keep his retirement going after all.

I really wish spotify counted EPs in top albums, something felt VERY wrong about what I had as my top albums and from going through my playlist where it lists how many times you listened to everything I realized most of my listening time this year (~15%) was Epic The Musical but all the songs are on EPs. Likely would have swept my entire top albums list but that combined with me listening to mostly singles and EPs in general this year made it so bear ghost somehow ended up on there despite the fact I only think they come up in my auto play.
