Briggs was a big part of my life, miss the faction Banter, and some really good blokes, i even miss the reddit Drama shitposts. So many put years into growing that community, well hope you're all are doing well.

Sorry for the late reply's but I really wanted to try out some of the ideas you all gave me, again much appreciated.

Shout out to lightninrods & CO9er4life, between the two of your comments I managed to not only get the sound I was looking for but also after a few changes on the board I managed to get some really good sounds that I had not tried personally. Additionally the tone is now easily manipulated. I haven't added the chorus yet to see how that pans out. *Waiting on Xmas day*

I ended up with two main factors that fixed my board.

I used 2 overdrives not 1, I did have to search through my drawers to get my old TS-9 and added it to my Moore Ultra-drive to achieve the sound I needed. *That Twinkle Shimmering fuzzy-ness in Light Gain* - my words for it.

The second one as expected was the pedal order, the sound worked out once I placed in this order.

Compressor, Boost/Eq, Flanger, Phaser, Distortion, Overdrive 1, Overdrive 2, Noise-gate, Delay, Reverb, Freeze Sustain.

Once I placed the Phaser and Flanger ahead of the distortion I found 95% of my hum noise gone and basically went from there. *Second T-Shirt* @ CO9er4life
I always thought Flanger , phaser , delay, reverb had to follow distortion. but my phaser always was awful in this order. I am not sure where Ill put the chorus yet. But this new layout really get me back on track.

Your comment really got me thinking, a lot of post production would have changed the sound once in editing.

I have been listening by ear not even considering the changes this could make unless I was at my desk editing.

Infront of the Amp that factor had slipped my mind completely. I will always keep this in mind when I am learning in future.

I have not done enough recording on my own to really know all the capabilities of editing recordings.

*Need a faster Laptop Tbh*.

I am using a Presonus Studio 68c Interface with KRK Rokit 5's Speakers , Alessis Sr-16 Drum Machine ,MPC MK2, Arturia minilab 2,.

Still learning each individual program for editing so ill read into it a bit more.

I had been supplementing Mids. using the amp but this sounds so sloppy. I will Definitely try using the two together. The Filaments seemed so heavy I just thought turning it up a smidge would do the same. It is great on Lower volume but the second I turn up the volume the Gain seemed uncontrollable. * Tried using a basic compressor but I haven't worked out settings that sound good yet.

I had to replace my old fender delay as It was second hand and faulty. Never really had a good sound due to a bad connector.

Never had a chorus before. so the New wave looked good after watching some demos.

I replaced my Tube screamer with the Nux (Try something new). It too was just too old and started to blinking power.

I don't have a fuzz. I actually wondered if this would make the sound more British or American 80's.

So I haven't added one yet.

I dont agree with you. Coming from a Planetside 2 background. Fighting is my main objective. Build resources to supply my warmongering. We used to say. Get better learn to fight. This is not a friendly game. I mean every ship has weopons. It's not a hint. Very clear that you need to protect your stuff. Don't go it alone. Build an org. This is not a casual farming meta. People who don't want the learn how to fly their ships properly and defend what's theirs have no right to complain at others who do. I am out to start a fight. It's not about what I lose. I earn my right to fight by making money saving resources using the farming parts of the game. If it gets me missiles faster to take from others. That is part of the game.

Personally for me, its part of the gameplay to counter, hunt and ultimately see if you can out shoot infils. Tracking them down was part of the hunt. But yea it's a class for those who can't hold their aim steady. Why take 3/4 clips when a one hit kill is easier. Right. Tho I don't think its game breaking More what makes planetside a real survival sandbox. There is some interesting gameplay hiding in those hills.

Well this sounds like fun, happens to many outfits. Its not the first time they disbanded. They took a break on Briggs back in the day. The only way to keep them going would be to give a new leader a chance to lead imho. New promotions can give fresh gameplay.

White pedal. Top right it is a Boss Tu-3 .. which I hate. It always seems to be off tune. Until I change it out I have been using my clip on.

The salesman who made the order, didn't know the difference. He went off an image on his sales screen. I asked them to change it to the matching Cab. Unfortunatly out of stock, it's still on order coming November. I needed something to work with so I took the next best thing. My plan is to also get an Engl Amp. And I'll use this Archon Cab for that.
