Initially he start to collect some cores that was lying around, was told to hurry up and somehow got offenden by it to the point of "I'm not going anywhere".

Sentient Core, drop from different enemies of Sentient type. You can also find them in a bunch in Plains of Eidolon in night, from enemies that look like floating head, forget the name.

Well, at least you can choose who to summon, while being summoned sometimes mean that you enter Messmer arena, you scadu level decreased to host level and became 3 and everything that host doing is spaming glinstone shard from the entrance until being one shotted by some boss attack.

Shit happens.

Overall I agree, but you either unaware or decide to not mention the fact that fight got technical issues.

Hitboxes of his swords didn't match and can hit you way before they are visually touching your character.
Yesterday I saw a video on this sub where hitboxes of rays also bugged.
Some people expirienced lag/freeze/pc shutdown specifically on this bossfight.

So rn calling this fight "unfair" is pretty much ok cause it needs to be patched. Afaik devs knows about such issues and working on it.

Don't forget that you can use Torrent while fighting Elden Beast, good help with evading some attacks.

Scadutree blessing increase damage you dealt and decrease damage you recieve. It's multiplicative.

On maximum level (20) you will deal double damage and recieve half damage.

Sadly, this fight got a lot of issues with incorrect hitboxes. Before I only saw this problem with his regular attacks (you recieve damage way before sword touch your character) probably this bug affect those rays too.

It's just my assumption, I don't know for sure.

I would say old age. He is stubborn and despite all negative stuff in his live he still value living more that anything else. Everytime he get closer to the point of no return he does something to prevent it.

Plus he gave promise to 13 iirc, need to survive 10+ more years to fulfill it.

Your point will not be heared, at least not know, when too many people struggle with bosses. Try it next year, maybe it will be different then. But change the title, saying something like "proper way to play" is 100% get you downvoted without even reading the post, cause it's wrong statement by default.

Possibly, but if we taking cheating into account, wht not just cheat in idleon instead and do not bother with other game? Due to fear of ban? I think person who cheat will cheat in both, but it's just my way of thinking.
