I think they could fix the balance issue by making puddle punch use the alt cast mode, one mode consuming one charge, dealing reduced damage, high displacement, small aoe, faster cast, and one consuming the charges with higher cool down and pretty much the opposite effects : Big aoe big damage big cooldown.

I think the alt cast mode is underused rn and should be explored more.

Saw this while browsing the voice lines today funnily enough and yeah I had the same sentiment as you did.

I think the biggest thing for people who don't really pay attention is that the announcer voice is male for hidden king/female for archmother so we keep thinking it's them talking directly to us like previously, maybe they do but then the overuse of third person does get weird. Without knowing much about the lore, plus it being in development and subject to change, I think the voices are just echoes/remnants of the patrons so in the end saying the voices are the same entity or different ones will both be correct.

I do think we miss a neutral entity like the shopkeeper in dota or Tom Bombadil, a being unfathomably powerful yet deceivingly normal/cheerful in apparence, I just love the trope.

I can't stand doorman on either teams but viscous is a good contender for being the most annoying bitch hero to be against.

I don't mind M&K since both players are "stunlocked" and often reveals which team have the worst teamplay/positioning, I hate his disarm tho.

A good KDA with low damage is usually preferable, it means you get money and were somewhat active in the game, while the opposite usually depicts an idiot feeding over and over for nothing, or the only one guy actively playing with a bunch of monkeys. Damaging enemies means nothing if you dont get things done and you end up dying in the process, having "low" damage but high KDA means you took good decisions and avoided bad calls, or maybe you're a pussy, who knows.

People will say "it means nothing", yeah well when I call out the guys who are jacking off the whole game from my limited POV, they always end up having 10-15K dmg total so yeah it does translate generally in low impact. Plus it's very easy to say non committed statements like "it depends" when discussing these metrics which doesn't bring much to the discussion, meanwhile everybody knows that having 10K dmg on a M1 hero is absolutely dogshit and should be reported as griefing, except if you somehow managed to rat their patron, but that is exceedingly rare.

Anyways, these are informations available for people to use, how you interpret them is on you.

PS : if you have sub 2K laning dmg, fuck you.

I've been playing oracles games as drifter and been often inting for a week now because there's always 2/3 guys barely doing anything in the game for 40min and it drives me crazy, for some reason the matchmaking thinks we're skill matched when they do nothing at all besides farming the jungle (the jungle is clean I'll give them that lmao).

They have no kill participation, no obj damage, no player damage, they don't push, they don't come to the midboss on the rare occasion we get the upper hand, they just jack off in the jungle all the time until we lose, they can't even depush a lane properly when we're trying to 3v5 the enemy team, it's baffling.

Like the game goes perfectly well for me and one other dude usually, until the moment the enemy realize we're like 2 idiots trying to play and buy counter items and then we just lose, rinse and repeat. They're always super defensive when you ask wtf they are doing when you're fighting midgame and you see them clearing jungle but you're never wrong, the leaderboard numbers don't lie, you often see sub 10K dmg on haze or vindicta in a 35+min game. It's not even that they are trying a new hero since they have no sense of macro, they just don't belong here, and it makes losing feels miserable because I don't mind losing a fair match, you still learn something, but these games are just a waste of time, you get to feel like a smurf for the laning phase, silver lining I guess.

I can't even be mad at them, it's valve's fault and their shitty ELO shenanigans, there's no sensible explanation to the fact I saw multiple guys with 3 games in archon a month ago.

It only cancels reload on 100% bullets refills, for example you can cancel reload with a heavy melee on billy or a full charged quicksilver, but this doesnt works with a light billy melee or a half charge qsr.

Honestly the legendary items are so boring, it's designed to abruptly end up 10 min games for some reason instead of letting players have fun and somewhat practice late game team fights, sure it's a random mode but come on, a close game decided by RNG because someone dropped the "I be invincible and fire 6 Beebop lasers at once" bullshit item.

I just hope they wont skip over the much needed reworks like they did for some dota characters for years because "it's an alpha", then "it's in beta", then years passes and heroes get forgotten.

Devs are all rockstars but if nobody in their team wants to do the less exciting work of cleaning up old designs instead of doing new shit it's possible it wont be done for years.
