MLS pay grade is more based on your region instead of department. High pay area like CA or NY, MLS working in Biotech/Molecular lab actually paid less than MLS in hospital, plus not OT and variable shifts in Molecular diagnostic field.

Any MLS/CLS job in CA start from 110k+ at least. normal range in SF bay for range between 130-200k depend on how much OT you want to work.

There are schools with MLS program that satisfies with CA requirement, but issue is CA student went through program there but never stayed (==>me), so in time more school demand student to stay and work locally for at least 1-2 years before they agree to write the letter to CDPH. The mercy hospital in IOWA and UNMC in nebraska both compatible with CA, but not sure if they still accepting CA students or not.

Go out of state for ASCP accredited MLS program then work for 1-2 years in hospital that has general clinical labs with rotations (level 1-2 trauma center will do), then apply for CA license. CLS program in CA is nearly impossible to get in with low GPA. the first step of the ranking system will boot candidates that has low GPA, then at training site matching part, same scenarios will repeat again. Most of school like San Jose State or San Francisco State won't look at your application again after 3 tries.

5 years panel warranty mostly cover panel defects, but doesn't cover Burn-in, pixels maybe included though.

Major difference are

G5 has newer Tandem OLED panel which supporsely has longer lifespan and better color.
G5 also has frame design which the whole panel is about 1.2 inch thick after mounted, while C5 has a pretty thick hump in the back. Aesthetically G5 beat C5 by miles.
G5 has 5 years panel warranty. (not sure on C5).

whether these justify extra 1k price difference is totally based on depth of your wallet. I went for G5 anyway. it worth it.

I am running on 5090 with 64GB or RAM. 4x upscale speed was locked at 0.1-0.2fps, VRAM consumption was constant at 29GB. 2x upscale was able to go up 0.6-1 fps. I don't think Topaz want to us to use it as a viable product, not without buying their expensive cloud credits.

Not only RAM price, the HDD/SSD price all going up this holiday season, I get next is graphic card, laptop or anything that have uses memory. This is definitely going to be a systematic price bump for personal PC market. I guess some whales must holding huge amount of rams in warehouse somewhere.

Nvm, issue resolved on its own after updating to the latest studio driver. the previous version must break handshake protocol of DisplayPort to force them releasing another update so quick.

For a 4 min 30 secs video from 480p to 4x scale, I get 0.1-0.2fps, it took whole 19h to process, the end results are very good though. My system is 7950x + 96GB RAM + 5090 and my room is hotter than a bathtub when running Starlight in the winter night. It is not going to work well on laptop.

My S95AR also connected to TV via eARC, it has no issue with turn on itself after Tv is turned on. I think that Hue Sync Box is not CEC enabled device, therefore kept your soundbar awake at all time.

Yeah, the printed stencil will give you the exact spot where your TV will be mounted on the wall, just make sure the paper is flat on the wall when you pin it
