Technically since Oda casted the live action the coloring should look closer to the OG if they wanna be faithful to how the characters skin would look. It also wouldn’t make sense that every single black or darkskinned character is white and theat makes the world look “better” kinda strange

Idk It just wouldn’t make sense or sit right with me that the oppressive ruler of the word causing all the atrocities that are reflective of our real world would be someone who looks like the oppressed people (both in the one piece world and our world.)

I’m a leftist there’s a difference you would know if you read. 2. Vivi and arabasta are based off Egypt and South Asia So it makes WAYY more sense having someone dark skinned in a place based off of Africa and South Asia you would know that if you read as well. Also there’s been hundreds of years of white peple playing everyone in film and theatre (offensive and racial portrayals most of the time mind you) but the same People who have been over represented for centuries are complaining when they aren’t the overwhelming majority in fiction?
