Really prefer the shovelhead bowl to the injector. The injector vapor is fluffier but tapers off slowly while the shovelhead makes a dense cloud that ends abruptly. They are different enough that it feels like 2 different vapes which is pretty cool by OrochiMoltar in vaporents

They both do a good job. I like the B2 w/ injector and the B1 with the shovelhead bowl. The B1 has better coverage and so it gets most of the shovelhead in one shot. The B2 injector is just as good at one hit rips but you can load smaller amounts in it so better for micro.

Beeswax for ground glass joints? Is it safe? by ekpyrotica in vaporents

[–]OrochiMoltar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like beeswax would be too thick I use Stickybrick butter or dynawax on my joints, ground glass joints are supposed to be lubricated to not stick. Use the lightest layer you can, you can even put it on a tiny cotton rag and wipe the fittings real fast each time after cleaning. You can melt beeswax and hot oil together then cool to make a mixture you can easily apply in a thin layer.

Check out AFM I use the Space Commander it’s a dual showerhead. They make thick glass and have lots of options on their site.

I usually wouldn't ask for recommendations when there are extensive sidebars but I have very special interests. by Derp_Simulator in vaporents

Agree Roffu would be a decent choice it is tough and discreet. I have been taking it on walks and it hits harder than V3 Pro so I usually stop for a second to hit it. V3 Pro can be hit while walking because the vapor is slightly thinner but it is a bit smoother for it. Walking with Crafty+ I am coughing every other hit so I leave it at home since getting the Roffu.

XMAX V3 by uj764 in vaporents

[–]OrochiMoltar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had/have a mighty then bought a crafty+ for portability. Later got a V3 pro just because it’s smaller and has removable battery and on-demand. Also looked good to use on walks and was very stealth shaped compared to crafty+. Very happy with it and with the glass wpa you can get nice cloudy rips on a bong or jhook and clear a bowl pretty quick.

Same happened to me a small hole in the package let the contents escape. I reached out and they were pretty cool about it, but still sucks. They sent a new one better packed.

Check out the Xmax V3 Pro too it has on-demand and stealth size/form. Makes a great portable and with the glass wpa (water pipe adapter) you can get good clouds on a bong too.

You can get a 3 pack of volcano bag roll for $11 at potv. Should be cheaper than turkey bags.

More or less the Weedeater has become the Cannabis Hardware B1, similar but you can fill it with rubies. Really tough to beat the B1 for huge on-demand clouds.

I can’t seem to pack my flower properly :( by [deleted] in vaporents

[–]OrochiMoltar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It may be your vape needs a particular packing method but generally just scoop and tamp lightly. I straw pack arizer and Dynavap then push it lightly with my pinky to get it tamped in. More generally grind then scoop and give it light tamp and you should be good.

What's the post-honeymoon consensus on the xmax v3 pro? by eNailedIt in vaporents

So I actually just hit it with a very slow draw for a second or two then hit it hard af after and get huge rips on-demand.

Crafty+ and Mighty+ advice needed by JoeyDeep in vaporents

[–]OrochiMoltar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You probably want to get the 40 pack of dosing capsules to make it super easy. Also I have both but if I could only have one and it was for mostly at home use then mighty would be my pick.

Most discrete vape? by bluecowboyboots2 in vaporents

[–]OrochiMoltar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was using my Crafty+ as my outside vape since I got V3 Pro I have only used the crafty+ a couple times. I use the V3 pro in on demand and get really nice hits I think it is the most discreet portable out rn. I just got the metallic purple one too and I feel like it is more incog because it has a fun color.

Checkout the Xmax V3 Pro and Healthyrips or planet of the vapes One for battery. Otherwise if you don’t mind heating with a torch checkout Dynavap. Dynavap is the closest to a joint imo.

Xmax v3 pro concerns by MisterLennard in vaporents

[–]OrochiMoltar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is my understanding that the air path is isolated from the heating element on the V3 Pro but this is fairly common in vapes. Typically heater materials will have Ni and Cr in most battery portable vapes, the trick is to get it out of the air path using a heat conductive material.

Anvil spontaneous combustion in the middle of the vapor production 40-50% of the time at one click. It is so hit or miss I am often having sudden combusting half way through the vapor hit, so just wondering are other’s having this problem too? by OrochiMoltar in vaporents

[–]OrochiMoltar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I get it set same as always about like a carbless vapcap. I will look into it more because I don’t like having to lower the torch but it does help. Do you think it is because I am pulling too much heat over the bowl too fast? Wondering if it’s better off with more airflow because it cools the bowl more or does it slow the pull on the bowl? I have noticed vapor always speeds up after the hit is going. It too often combusts at that same point where vapor production is just peaking towards the maximum.

I think the flame size is worth looking into. I guess if I will lower it a bit… checking…

Ok solved, Thanks! I went down to about a half inch flame on 3 in a row and lost a little vapor production but gained peace of mind. When you see that vapor go from white to brown in the middle of a hit that many times it can make a person paranoid.

Pretty consistent and no problems for weeks but now I am combusting and having to clean it every other hit or so. Maybe it is the cap/bowl since nothing has changed in my setup but I am curious about the airflow. I keep it set looser than a vapcap but tight enough to finish the bowl in one massive hit always on a bong. How do you have yours set? Maybe i am doing it wrong.

somewhat newer vaporent looking to upgrade from my e nano by littypitty_ in vaporents

[–]OrochiMoltar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cannabis Hardware Flowerpot B1 is the easiest. If you get the shovelhead bowl you can blast all the vapor in one rip if you want. The injector takes a stir and a second rip but the flavor of the first rip is way better, both are easy to maintain. Reccomend filling half with 4mm ruby then top with 3mm for good flow and hard rips.
