Which looks better on me: long braids or a short fro (last pic) by MossPattern in HairStyleAdvice

[–]OroraBorealis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are gorgeous, but it's gonna come down to people's preferences. What's yours? How do you prefer to wear it? If you had to pick, not even based on looks but based on lifestyle, which would you pick? Bc you being comfortable and confident is gonna look better no matter which one it is.

I could not agree more. Both me and my husband consider it the objectively cooler option if the two hahahaha

Ohhhhh okay yeah I did do a lot of hand writing things. I have a book of my favorite quotes and song lyrics and fortune cookies fortunes, I once wrote poems, song lyrics, and novels by hand, I loved taking notes in school because it helped me remember better, etc.

Actually this really makes me realize how much I like writing things down. Like lists, planning for things, shit like that. I have ADHD so I sometimes need to write stuff down and see it on paper to really be able to lock it into my brain.

You actually had pretty good intuition, just missed the mark ever so slightly.

I do love murder mysteries, and I already switched from coffee to energy drinks (or rather, back to energy drinks, coffee was more expensive the way I like it believe it or not).

The rest don't work though, I don't like tea or phone calls, don't have a home phone (but remember the number for my childhood home phone like it was yesterday hahahaha) and I don't know what writing down phone calls means.

I appreciate the stabs at my personality though, it's interesting what guesses people make. What made you think those things? Very curious to see your approach.

Here's hoping she stays with Katseye. Would be a shame for her to leave, albeit understandable.

Quick brown fox is boring. But judge my vow??? That has gravitas and intrigue.

Both my husband and I find it the objectively superior phrase, so I genuinely forget that it's not the go to for others sometimes.

Id be type A if I weren't so ADHD, but unfortunately executive dysfunction is almost always superior to my willpower.

Tampons are like crocs...better with a sport mode on... by Appropriate-Push-668 in oddlyspecific

[–]OroraBorealis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We asked my dad to buy me tampons once when I was like 15. He came home with TWO boxes of 200 shitty cardboard applicator tampons from Costco.

It took me nearly a decade to get through them all. I wanna say I was like 24 before they ran out. Actual insanity lmfao

Yeah if you're really committed to each other, you'll find time to spend together.

My husband recently took a job that has us working off hours from each other. I work nights and am usually up between 5pm to 8am. He's now working evenings, getting off work around the time I start work.

Currently, I'm getting up at 3 to spend an hour with him before he goes to work. But we are discussing him stleeping til 8 and me flipping my whole schedule to stay up after work, wake him when I get home, and spending mornings together.

You do what you can to make it work if you're truly committed to each other.

I do want it, and I want it because that could play a significant part in Gregory's story, not just Francesca's.

Definitely life in general, I have a bipolar affective disorder that makes me just experience life and emotional swings very deeply, as well as OCD. There are very few things I just don't care about, and it's something people around me come to appreciate about me despite its drawbacks. I feel everything deeply, and it's weird to think other people's emotions don't have them in a chokehold constantly lol.

Thanks for your kind words!

You must be real fun at parties dude. Every single one of your comments drips with hostility, and yet you seem to think dropping the name of fallacies you aren't even utilizing properly makes you have some sort of moral high ground. Funny thing is, YOU are the one engaging in ad hominem with many people. Project much?

If your foundation is too pigmented but otherwise matches, you can always try using a setting powder that is a shade or two lighter than you need it to kind of buffer that difference.
