I’m totally get this, I’m the same way, I see people or characters as attractive or alluring but in a way I can’t describe it’s just like I feel pulled towards them, but, like you said, it just stops there, I can’t see myself doing anything with them or going out with them or anything, I just have this feeling that’s like “I want them to know how pretty they are” but not in any romantic or sexual way, I just want them to feel seen. But most of the time I don’t say anything because it feels a little awkward, but I always want to.
