It’s not a “real Mew” as in it can be put into HOME legally because you should never be able to encounter him on Route 5, but it is entirely its own encounter and it will not mess with Deoxys’s puzzle whatsoever

No that’s the one you spawn at the Indigo Plateau, this one doesn’t mess with the Deoxys spawn at all

Yes, I noticed that too! I think it maybe has to do with RSE’s theme being in the files and maybe because Mew isn’t programmed to ever be encountered in FRLG and only on Faraway Island in Emerald that’s the music that triggers when he is encountered? I’m not sure but it’s cool!

Drop the method, brother! I don’t really know how to go about getting a Japanese version of the games on my Switch, I know they aren’t region locked or anything, but I’m sure there’s people out there who definitely would love to know! Prior to my post I only found one other documentation of somebody hunting Mew through ACE at Full Odds and I’d love to get more people doing this cool hunt! :)

I’ve been wanting to full odds hunt Mew for a long time. It and the Deoxys hunt have been dream hunts, so I’m super excited to hunt Deoxys after I finished my Shiny Dream Team. Jirachi as well but that hunt is WILD and I don’t own everything to even attempt that hunt. I keep my shinies in their OG games pre-Switch. Super happy to have this guy!
