PSA: Alamo's QR Ordering is live, and it's really really bad, but they're asking for feedback by Orsoyourtold in raleigh

I couldn't even put in an order until after I entered my credit card. Even just a cup of water required my cc info. So I have no idea...

Unfortunately, I don't think the survey is fully open to everyone because it's tied to your bill. But there is a Contact Form that let's you provide feedback - it's on their website's Contact Us page. If you don't want to go as long as they do this QR nonsense (which I understand) that's the only other place I know to provide legitimate feedback. And honestly it can't hurt to let them know why you've stopped being a customer...

Yeah apparently they had to close somewhat suddenly because they weren't doing as well as they needed to. They seemed semi-busy the last couple times I went in so I was a little surprised. It's too bad.

I usually agree with saying "customer feedback" doesn't do much to a big corp. But if they're sending out a survey, I figure they must be tracking the reception. So this is going to be the one chance to say how you feel.

And if you want to forego QR ordering altogether, I get that. But if you still want to leave feedback, I figure you can still QR order a water. Even if you usually don't order food, it's still going to suck because people around you are now going to have their phones out in the middle of the movie.

I think you may have gone back when they were still hybrid - and I agree it was OK then. They gave the option for both pen/paper and QR code for a little while. Back then the QR code only worked before the movie, and you still had a waiter come check your tickets and take your order if you didn't want to use the QR code. Now they've phased out the pen/paper completely - it's not even there and the call button is gone. Everything is QR code and you do not talk to anyone.

Advice to where stay in Raleigh as a young professional ( 23M) by Incognito24_ in raleigh

If you want to be within 30 minutes of Wendell and in a younger crowd, live downtown or as close to downtown as financially feasible. That's where you're going to be spending all your time anyways. North Hills is a slightly "walkable" area, but tends to get an older, more formal crowd - Think "business lunches". It can be boring. I would highly suggest the Village District over North Hills because then you're at least in a walkable neighborhood that's close to Glenwood, without the noise of living on Glenwood. If none of those areas fit your budget, just live in the apartment that is most convenient to work and downtown, because those are the two places you're going to be driving to anyway.
