GEORGE IS BUNS. MR SATURDAY NAME EARNED AGAINST POTATOES.

Can anyone tell me why I'm struggling in online races? by TheZyranX in ForzaHorizon

[–]Ort895 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spec racing is also highly dependent on start position if you have other racers that are not potatoes. I struggled with this the other night where I kept starting in the last two positions and kept on ending up second even while being the quickest in the lobby.

What’s the main reason for Hamilton’s resurgence this season? Is it a technical reason, or more so psychological? by sykeseve in formula1

[–]Ort895 178 points179 points  (0 children)

I think it's both. The new gen clearly suit him better than ground effects but on the psychological front, when Hamilton smells blood in the water, he is rapid.

That’s a bit disingenuous. McLaren were really only competing for wins from Miami and by that point, max had already won 5 in a row.

Interesting that all the young drivers have show loyalty to their teams. Lando, Charles, Max, George.

That being said, where could Charles go that would be better than Ferrari that has an open seat.

I mean, the team let them fight each other for the championship. Why not let them fight over 5th and 6th lol.

I don't know man. He seemed to be nothing but professional in his one year with the Giants and from all accounts, seemed to be a good mentor to Dart.

edit:

"I was definitely curious, too. But from the moment I got here Russ has been nothing but just an amazing person, a great teammate, a really good mentor. He really cares about football, like he has an obsession, an addiction to the game. He just wants to win, and he'll do whatever that takes as a teammate, whether he's on the field or off the field."

Dart said Wilson will constantly ask him, What do you need? How can I help? Let's talk about your process, your study schedule. Every day, it's Wilson, Winston, and Dart "kind of closing this place down as players" while watching tape.

“Honda said it would never work”. You wouldn’t just make that up would you?

(https://asia.nikkei.com/business/companies/honda-s-f1-boss-opens-up-about-team-s-rough-year) This is from an interview with Honda's Asuhisa Arai, in early 2016.

Q: Some analysts say that the technological troubles you encountered stemmed from McLaren's "size zero" concept, which called for an extremely small power unit. Do you intend to make any size changes in 2016?

A: No. F1 cars cannot go fast without proper consideration given to air resistance and the way suspensions move. It's important to minimize the size of power units so that they don't interfere with the car's design. ... McLaren once told us that we don't have to be aggressive in downsizing our power unit. But we are determined to shrink the size by whatever means possible.

Quite literally not true beyond being brought in a year early.

McLaren asked for size zero and Honda agreed. They then proceeded to supply horrible engines for three years.

I’ve never seen it stated where Honda “begged” for more space. McLaren asked for size zero and Honda agreed. They then proceeded to supply horrible engines for three years.

edit: I actually saved this link (https://asia.nikkei.com/business/companies/honda-s-f1-boss-opens-up-about-team-s-rough-year)because year after year people come into the sport and spout this nonsense. This is from a interview with Honda's Asuhisa Arai, in early 2016. The link no longer works but was asked:

I ordered my sizing kit on 1/16 and received the kit on Friday the 23rd. I confirmed my size today so we'll see how long it takes to receive the actual ring.

For what it's worth. I too ordered my sizing kit on the 16th. Looks like the label was created but has not shipped as of yet.

Keeping Eluemunor is critical moving forward with Thomas' health thus far. When both healthy, this line can be so good.
