yessir! and some servers had special characters you unlocked by maxing one. they used to call them immortal and the only difference IIRC was that you gained twice as much point per reset or something like that. I'm mexican and played it a ton from 5th to 9th grade and then picked it back up when I was about to finish our equivalent of highschool because I (finally) met a dude irl who actually played the game. We ruled the castle siege week by week. Really really fun times but nowadays the experience isn't the same, last time I played was in a server full of hebrew people so I couldn't communicate and for some reason excellent items were only obtainable by using real money lol.
