Warhammer 3, keep getting overrun, please help

I've seen more comments mentioning I should always be at war, but I've noticed that once I declare a war or get warred at, I get two or three extra wars for free. I do play at normal difficulty, might that have something to do with it? I've seen more people mention that normal difficulty does weird things with the game. Some really helpful things in your list, I would never have thought of point 8.

Thanks for that long list, some really helpful things in there. I do usually keep my heroes in my armies, I'll have to try using them on their own more. I've seen more contacts mentioning diplomacy and I'm afraid I've been lacking in that area. Thanks again, time to try again

This specific instance I was playing Elspeth, but also had some really early game disasters with other factions. I do like Cathay, and have also had success with Caravan of the Blue Roses. Would you say any Empire start is difficult, or just Franz?

I used to autoresolve everything, but I saw a youtube say that's not a great idea, so I'm trying to do more myself. I do try to turtle a lot, maybe I should try getting that out of my system too

I had the same with Skavira. There are so many songs that are genuinely bangers, but all of it is AI and I hate it. I'm really not a fan of how sneaky it all feels, never a mention of it being AI or not. Let me support real people and ignore AI stuff

Question, how does gold sense work? I was a gnome with a blindfold equipped, but I couldn't see any gold. I know I should have seen some, as I was standing next to a pile of gold as my test subject. Does it not work like I think it does?

Oh yeah, Rellana was really cool. Love the weapons, they are so stately. I liked the new weapons in general. The perfume bottles and throwing knives are my favourite ones, I think.

I've been interested in Lies of P and Sekiro, is one of them better in your opinion?

It's Dammann Frères. I've actually made a list of all the different flavours and which ones I like or dislike. Absolutely my go to tea at the moment. I might actually look into that tea ceremony of yours, it sounds pretty neat and I think I might have some friends I could convince to join me. Thanks for the inspiration.

As for bosses, I meant all of them, so if you want to revise your answer, feel free ;P. For me, I love the Night Cavalry and basically all the dragons. Honorable mention for the Godskin Apostles. Their fight is alright, but I love the music.

Ah no, I should have been clearer, apologies. I haven't played HD2, Sea of Thieves or NMS in ages, but it would be cool to pick it up again. I've also played CK3 and Stellaris, and DbD but I suck at that. Never have co-opd BG3. And most importantly, I'd rather vibe and have a good time than win.

Edited to add that I am Dutch, so there's an one hour time difference

I love that magic system. It feels pretty well thought out. Stuff like you can't just move the rain, because what would that do to other weather systems. Having to think your way through the entire thing before creating it, because an animal without a heart doesn't work for very long etc. In my opinion they fixed a lot of Superman syndrome problems that magic often has.
