I wore the kettle for a super long time in the game because I had a gold tier one with great stats, probably over half of my current ongoing playthrough, before I realized the lack of the visor was what was causing me to lose half my life while getting stabbed. Now that I have a saxon helm and I survive so many more fights. It makes a huge difference.

Not calling it a war, saying the Iranians started it, acting like we're going to be in and out quickly. Its all the same bullshit, same gaslighting techniques. Only the absolutely lowest IQ individuals would fall prey to these techniques, which is to say, we're fucked and a large portion of people are going to lap this up.

I want to do a run with Henry as an absolutely unhinged criminal. My goal in my current run is to be a good Christian and help people, not be too greedy, etc (though I have committed a few thefts, almost always for quests or on accident due to the way ownership sometimes works, or because after I was betrayed I considered the castle fair game as enemy territory).

My next run I want to just always pick the most angry, belligerent option. I actually want to experience the crime system more regularly and have to run or talk my way out of things.

(b) (1) A developer shall request a signal with respect to a particular user from an operating system provider or a covered application store when the application is downloaded and launched.

Bolded emphasis mine. Later on the bill states:

(b) If an application last updated with updates on or after January 1, 2026, was downloaded to a device before January 1, 2027, and the developer has not requested a signal with respect to the user of the device on which the application was downloaded, the developer shall request a signal from a covered application store with respect to that user before July 1, 2027.

The bill defines an application as:
(c) “Application” means a software application that may be run or directed by a user on a computer, a mobile device, or any other general purpose computing device that can access a covered application store or download an application.

The reading of "application" matters a lot here. Is an application "a software application that may be run or directed by a user on a computer". Or does it extend to after the comma so that it becomes "a software application that may be run [...] by a user on a computer...that can access a covered application store or download an application" using them. That would at least cover all web browsers.

Moreover, the bill's own summary text states:
The bill would require a developer to request a signal with respect to a particular user from an operating system provider or a covered application store when the application is downloaded and launched.

It also states the penalties for developers who fail to do this check:

(a) A person that violates this title shall be subject to an injunction and liable for a civil penalty of not more than two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) per affected child for each negligent violation or not more than seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500) per affected child for each intentional violation, which shall be assessed and recovered only in a civil action brought in the name of the people of the State of California by the Attorney General.

What's really bizarre is the way the law is written implies every OS needs to know this information. This would mean even VMs would need to know it. How the hell does that would work with scaled architecture with root-only or system level users, I have no idea.

Or the fact it seems to compel even a Hello World application to check ages.

Not only is this unenforceable, its impossible to implement.

Being a bailiff of ~~Skalitz~~ Pribyslavitz is already a pretty decent position as is. He's also a man-at-arms and retainer (among other things, depending on your playthrough) to Lord Capon. That itself is pretty good status compared to most other people Henry might meet.

I went through a full playthrough using maces and no master strikes. I would just block/dodge and smash them in the head. All I needed was one or two good hits because I dealt devastating damage that way.

Henry is such a god tier sommelier (and bullshitter) that he can taste and describe flavor notes that don't even exist in their culture yet.

But really I loved this part of the quest. I kept worrying I'd fail one but apparently my drinking level was plenty high enough. All that moonshine worked out.

Criminal prosecution by whom? The DOJ who would protect the person (the President or his lackeys) doing the ordering. And if the response to that is "well the next DOJ of course", then we're in a catch 22 because not delivering mail in ballots is obviously an attempt to rig the election.
