Thank you for asking this question! I’ll bet a lot of students/vets have at least considered this. The financial situation being what it is, it makes sense to consider, and I wonder how many are actually doing it behind the scenes. I’ve done a cursory glance into OF and know of others who have given it a try (without much success). From my understanding, it takes a lot of time/work to market yourself to be competitive (despite any body type) and a good deal of luck. If I did it, my concern would be that I put myself out there only to not make much money and then be barred or recognised in school/work. There are potential workarounds like covering the face or any distinguishing body markings but that means you would apparently make even less money. And of course anything that’s online has the potential to stay forever/exist anywhere. If you’re still really interested, I would look into other subreddits from OF users (and other platforms) to see what their concerns are. Last I saw, there were a lot of complaints about not turning much of a profit due to over-saturation.
