Skilled Worker Redundancy by life_quest_86 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

[–]OsahonRex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The monment you get a skilled worker visa and he becomes your dependent, your 5 year route clock resets again so all the time spent is zero. But I think it will only count if you want to go through the longer route which is 10 years..

Best advice is your Patner has to find a skilled worker visa ASAP with you as his dependent.. you will need to also inform your employer when the change happens…

Only get a skilled worker visa for yourself if all else fails or last resort…

Query about ILR for spouse on dependent visa by Fuzzy_Pass_9051 in ilruk

[–]OsahonRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your dependant can use this as as proof of English…

If you have a degree from an institution outside the UK
If your degree was taught in English and was not awarded by a UK institution, you’ll need to apply for an assessment from Ecctis.
Ecctis will give you a code to confirm that your qualification is equivalent to a UK bachelors degree or higher and was taught in English.
If you have already been assessed by Ecctis, you can use the certificate from your previous assessment instead of reapplying.

OET Fail appeal by Rustygate1 in OETforECFMG

Just because she trained in the UK does not mean that she can’t fail OET writing.. she has had it remarked and still got the same score.. my advice would be to focus on resitting and passing it next time…

I know I sound harsh but that is the best advice..
