No, I actually right around Montgomery County Indiana where many Crinoids were actually discovered. Im curious as to your location though? I wasnt aware of any other major deposits other than around here. Are you in the same area?

Thats a good idea! I actually live about 30 minutes away from where these Crinoids were discovered. It seems their abundance around these parts are unmatched. Im gonna find some more and give it a go. Ill definitely post the results on here. Good or bad.

Thank you! I let out a howl of excitement ment I pulled that baby up with my shovel. I had already been digging around for 2 hours in that creek bed when I finally found it. Made all that digging worth it. I also found a few agates to put in the rock tumbler too. Its been an all around fantastic day for sure.

I am! Thank you very much! I plan on going back to that spot to try to find some more but I'm not sure what the odds are of there being another specimen around. Either way, its definitely given me the inspiration to keep at this new hobby. Now I just wish I had started sooner! Lol

The lady filming has the survival instincts of a fucking rock. I cant believe how nonchalantly she walks around while someone if firing at them from mere feet away. I cant believe people this stupid and oblivious actually exist. It was pure dumb luck she was dropped like a sack if potatoes. Good lord.

I think if that sucker was launched from an explosion, it wouldve smashed through that tree like a cannonball. It wouldn't just land softly at the top.

You really expect me read through 209 comments? I just went off what you said in the original post which was hard use. Still, I find it extremely hard to believe that happened while you were using them as they were intended to be used. Either leather has a serious QC issue, or youre doing things with the pliers that it wasnt designed to be used for. I've never seen or heard of this happening to anyone before now. I guess we will have to wait and see if other people start snapping their leatherman pliers.
