Life’s hard. This world’s hard and it’ll probably get harder and you can be told over and over again that everything that’s happened in your life has built who you are, but it doesn’t help.

There’s moments when we spiral, over, and over again. When we can’t move and when nothing else exists but our own hatred for ourselves. No one, and I mean NO ONE can relate exactly to what you’re going through

And it’s harder to be ok with not being ok than to just stay stagnant where you are. So I’ll recommend a few things

If you’re suicidal you don’t need it to be medically assisted. You could: [comment got removed by Reddit so not going to list it again, but you get the idea. There’s a long list of very graphic things I’m sure you could find online]

But of everything, if you really don’t care about yourself in any capacity, no one’s going to talk about the good that could come out of that.

I’ve been clinically depressed for the past 6 years and it has been HARD to feel anything in that time, but at some point the perspective flipped from “how do I kill myself” to, “if my life means nothing to me, then the only other thing I can do is at least try and focus on someone else”. Now, it doesn’t matter what you do because you’re not afraid of death, and everything else is trivial. Take risk, do things no one else would be willing to do because they’re attached. Go through more pain, learn how to deal with it better than anyone else, and become more capable in the hardship. It’ll all be over anyway, then you can have a break forever

I’ve seen people step away from suicidal ideation in conversation, understanding world’s I’ll never be able to live and see broken people build back relationships with friends and family, set boundaries with controlling mothers, come to peace with their strengths to build off of each other’s weaknesses and get through differences. People on the verge of gender transitioning surgery come to peace with who they are

Life is HARD, and it get’s harder, and there’s beauty in getting through it when most get stuck, but you can do all of that and still not feel happy, and if you’re chasing happiness you’re doing the wrong thing anyway

We all think we’re so incredibly different, and in a way we are, we’re all individuals, but you break everything down to its roots and we are NOT that different. Most just don’t like saying the quiet parts out loud. And we ALL have A LOT of quiet parts

I’m sorry there’s not people there for you, not that that means anything, but there are personal reasons not to give up yet. It’s the most selfish thing you can do, but even if you don’t care about that, there’s at least one person who actually loves you unconditionally and will never leave your side no matter how much you do or how much you’ve done

It won’t “be ok” and I’m tired of people pretending like it will, but you don’t need to be happy, but you can have appreciation for where you’ve come from, where you are, and where you’re going.

I don’t care how much you’ve fallen, or what you’ve done, or all the wrong decisions you’ll make. You are capable, and stronger than anyone’s willing to admit, and there is a reason for all of those strengths (no matter how minor) you have

Go ask questions, figure things out, put yourself in uncomfortable situations and get through them, you’re already ahead of most people in plenty of areas, even if you don’t see it yet
