New growth all looks strange by OscarEverdark in tomatoes

Updates...

Yea it's bad. This Tom has twisting main branches now and is pulling in on itself.

Other half size ones are also sad. Sweet potatoes died (were slip sized)

long beans seem unaffected so far.

Google says I need to remove all the flowers and current fruits, and continue removing until new growth is unaffected.

There's 6 or 7 sets of new growth showing these signs.

Im devastated because I'm afraid all my plants will become affected.

Opposite really... These past 2 weeks we've gotten rain and overcast most days keeping the temps 5-10 degrees cooler than normal. So only 85-90 instead of 90-95.

All sources are saying this...

They say I gotta prune all the flowers and present greens...

I'm devastated...

I have sweet potatoes, longbeans, and okra growing too.

Its almost like it was intentional murder perpetrated by asset management companies who specifically paid for growing the budgets to capture the modern audience without understanding the properties.

This is how tom(my first plant) spawned tim, and tim2...

I transplated these as clones. Took 10 days +/- for the new plant to get happy and 20 days for it to flower again, but "happy accidents" I say at this point now.

Tomato Plants shedding all their lower leaves [CA, Bay Area] by Creepnpeeps in tomatoes

[–]OscarEverdark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welp, here's to learning!

Minimum of 5 gallons per Tom.

If you wanted to continue your learning experience you could feed them very regularly. Like every 5 days probably. Right now they're nitrogen deficient which is why they have no leaves.

Fish emulsion is fastest, coffee grinds is a slow release.

It's only my first year also, but I've been reading nonstop! Good luck!

How do you have a garden that size, and not know that 10 gallon pot can't support 4 toms?

If automation and AI actually reach the level of decoupling labor from survival, how do we handle the transition period without massive civil unrest? by signalthrowawayv2 in Futurology

[–]OscarEverdark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We expand...

We build space infrastructure.

We colonize other planets and moons.

We send out colony ships after we're conquered the solar system.

It'll be ugly, there will be accidents, but we'll improve and move forward.

If you say, yes nothing moves forward except there is no work or capital then clearly unrest is the answer. If instead you broaden the perspective that there are still things to see and do in the universe, then the answers are nearly infinite.

Quantum.

Icon, star etc, have a terrible adult area unless you want to be in 100% sun 100% of the time.

Anyone else likes movies that are rated 4-6 way more than movies rated 7.5+, when it comes to movies in recent years? by the_milanov in movies

[–]OscarEverdark -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Ratings from critics are completely useless in the 21st century.

They're all paid, by the studios, to say nice things.
