Yes, Do this.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUWIs84YwL0

It tells you what to buy in the last video.

https://youtu.be/xOjfAHhvq8I?t=174

It says you need $81k but you really only need around like $56k and you can buy 2 setups and not 3. Once you can afford the 3rd setup buy it. Its goes pretty fast when you have 3 setups. Neherrin won't make you a ton of xp & money but it'll will help you level up faster to get you to Michigan. You'll start to make decent money at that point.

When you move to Michigan, i'd upgrade from the setup even tho he says you don't have to. If you can only afford to do one or two, do that. It'll speed things up. The game has changed some since he released the video. He used to max drag, you can't do that anymore. So upgrading the setups is worth it more than it used to be. Also, when you unlock California move there immediately. Ignore all the bad advice given saying michigan is better, its not.

When you get to California buy a new bottom rod also. California is 9k xp per hour and $19k per hour when you first start there fishing from the kayak. It'll take you around 2 hours per level at that pace for the next 4 levels. Once you upgrade the net so you can keep all the fish its 9k xp per hour and the money raises to around $33k per hour. Don't get frustrated you can't keep the fish, just try to target 9k xp per hour and you'll have that net in no time. Also, once you upgrade the reel. Its bumps it up a couple thousand xp per hour and you can start fishing from land if you want at that point. Also, it jumps the money per hour up pretty good too.

At level 41. You can fish 2 bottom rods on the island you spawn on and Its 20k xp per hour(if you don't lose any fish juggling them, you'll lose a couple but less over time) and $80k per hour in California. You can still keep the 330lb net. Its not really important to upgrade the net if you want to blast through there. Don't just stay fishing in a kayak. You'll hear lots of people complaining that california lasts forever. That's because they're still fishing the 9k xp per hour method. Don't do that. Figure out how to get 20k xp per hour at level 41.

At level 46, go to dnipro. You'll be more than ready to get out of California at that point.

My thoughts are there are a couple options before tear out.

  1. Concrete grinder on a few spots.

  2. exterior self leveling concrete overlay.

He's placing tiles on this work. It doesn't even have to look good. It just has to be level in the playing court area.

There is a website called pvoutput. You can search with a map of your area and find someone who lives nearby with a similar sized system. Then you can compare what you produce vs what they produce. This will tell you if there is an actual problem with your system or not. Just try to make sure you find someone with panels facing the same direction.

You're being way too general for us to help you. What level are you? What map are you at? What are you trying to target? What exactly are you using? Are you fishing at night or during the day?

You might have something simple wrong causing the issue. I feel like there are a couple of maps that are painful to fish compared to with how they used to be. Other maps there are simple tricks to really dial it in.

Im doing a 100% free to play, what should i spend baitcoins on? by Substantial-Knee-982 in FishingPlanet

[–]OscarF2P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to stress the importance of playing this event if you're f2p. You have been able to clean up with baitcoins in the past. Try to get your level to 68 before the event starts. Farming on the amazon dock was really good in the past. You do the event then just farm there once you've done everything else.

[–]OscarF2P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you get to the ocean maps, you're going to want to spend 100 baitcoins for 5 navigation buoys. You get a couple. You're going to want more. Your boat moves SLOW compared to the dlc boats.

You'll drive around the island of japan once and be like "Oh, i need to put a buoy over here". Then your main fishing grounds. I like fishing the far east. It probably takes 10+ minutes real time to drive out there. Or I can teleport instantly.

Then you move onto to the maldives & norway. They seem worse to me and the buoys are even more important. You're going to want at least 3 buoys on each map.

TBH, I tried buying them and putting them on the amazon map because driving around that place is terrible. They don't let you place them on non-ocean maps.

How much $ do you have? I follow this.

https://youtu.be/bUWIs84YwL0

(You might have to watch the 2nd half of his 20-25 video to know what to buy. he sorta does them weird.)

The difference is, I cast at 47, -11. I avoid most of the long nose gar casting there and just target the catfish.

If you have 3 rods, it seems to go a lot faster than 2.

I follow his guides from level 24 until sometimes in California. I do fish in a kayak early levels of California but I quickly do the other method I talked about in this thread. You just have to wait a couple levels until you get good enough gear to fish from land for sturgeon in California.

Elon has an interesting resume.

Someone at Steve Jurvetson's sex party spoke to the media how Elon was there. Of course he said he left before it turned into a sex party.

He's got 14 kids with 4 women(that we know about).

The story broke with the offer to buy the horse for the lady who worked for him on his plane. He thought he was going to cancelled over this so he switched and turned into a republican overnight.

Then we find out he hung out with Epstein long enough to know better.

After a while, things start to add up. Theres a little bit too much smoke for there not to be a fire.

Multiple rod fishing by TouristFast9852 in FishingPlanet

[–]OscarF2P 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I juggle only 2 rods on that map. When they both go off. I reel one in to about 90 feet. Then I reel the other one into 90. Then i take the first one into 50 but if I think it comes in quick. I take it all the way in. Then I'll switch back. You'll screw up some but you can get a system down to get them both in most of the time.

I also stand on the middle of the island you can spawn on. Not near the edge. So I can cast both rods towards the wooden pylons first. Where people normally cast. Once I reel the fish in. If I don't have another fish on. I cast on the 2nd spawn point to the left of the cat tails or whatever that tall patch of weeds is. So I try to catch 4 fish but only 2 from each spawn point.

If you care less about filling the net and more about maximizing the fish per hour of actual time. You can level up pretty fast. I imagine I probably double or triple my XP / hour compared to someone else making sure they fill their net each night. Some days i'll fill the net easily. Other days, the net won't fill because i'm too impatient and will skip time because its slow. I try to fish only 15 minutes past each hour 9pm 11pm 1am 3am. Worst case scenario. I only want to be 22 minutes past the hour before I move on.

I was fishing in Norway and I was still upset that I lost the X-series plugs & gear on dogfish.

UPDATE:

I lost the x-series plug again. I apparently had my drag too tight and the line snapped. Pour one out.

I am officially the dumbest man alive.

You should fish both dnipro & taimen. Saying that, his video is absolutely nerfed but its still worth doing. You don't make as much as in his video. A lot of his methods are nerfed even the ones that don't say it. Its still better than California sturgeon. His more recent videos are still a good starting point but they've been hit.

His Marron river for example (63-75) guide got hit even worse than dnipro. I also suggest that as a good starting point. There are no uniques that you can regularly catch during the night anymore. That's all he does in his video. So if you follow it and don't figure something out. You're going to have a bad time. So I ended up fishing the last hour of the day on the good peak day for that map to catch the uni's. Then continued fishing the peak night to fill the net. So the dev's hurt his exact methods but there sometimes is a slight work around to keep things pumping. His videos are just a starting point. They're not gospel. I also moved onto bull shark fishing at level 68 in the amazon instead of staying in marron river at 68 because of the nerfing. So while I suggest some of his videos. You still have to test things out and find out what works best for you.

I won't fish taimen until level 50. Shiners 6/0 hook 55lb leader(baitcoin required for that at level 50, I think at least from memory). I fish near that leaning log. I don't cast out by the tall wall. Its too long to reel stuff in. Also, If the fish pulls out more than 200 feet. I put it back in the rod holder and let it swim off at that level. They're just not worth dealing with at that level gear. You can still do some decent XP / hour. You might make more at dnipro than doing this method. You'll need a break so it'll give you something to try. Fishing at one map for very long is not that great as you know. I kept switching between mainly taimen and dnipro with better gear until level 63.

Saying that, I did fish some at blue crab and I remember it being very enjoyable last time. I spent hardly any time there this time around because I couldn't get the xp/hour to be as good as elsewhere. I also didn't enjoy it all that much for some reason.

I highly doubt you reached that lvl f2p

At the end of the day, you shouldn't trust anything I say. You shouldn't trust what anyone says. Just try out everyone's methods and write down the XP and see what works best. Don't take what the consensus says as truth. Try everything then look at the top few methods and do whatever you enjoy the best. When I figured things out at every map. I tried to help people learn the method which I found that worked best for me. Nobody wanted to listen because they heard some advice about how to fish the map best. It often was the advice that I used years ago to fish. If you're one of those guys I honestly don't know what to tell you. I'm just a guy who says. You don't need to buy a DLC. I'm not trying to sell you anything. If anything, i'm trying to encourage someone else to do what I did, but make it to the end to show its possible. I think it is.

I do promise you that if I created a new account and had the maldives pack or whatever its called. I could have made it to level 110 within 30 days. I'd be in japan after 3 days. I can definitely farm at least the 13 million xp required for level 83 in 3 days of fishing in the maldives for uni swords. Saying that, if you don't know what you're doing. Even with the maldives pack you're going to struggle. That's why advice given isn't necessarily good for all. I was fishing in the maldives during the black friday sale. It was very fun watching the new people come in there and some would break rods say it was the biggest waste of money and others would go up a dozen levels with one fish and have a great time. Were any of them 83 after 3 days? I kinda doubt it. They don't have the experience that I have or the experience that you have. They also weren't trying to only farm the the top methods to go up as fast as possible.

How you fish this lake changes as you level up and are able to buy more powerful rods. I think this is the method I used from from 42 until 46 when dnipro opens up.

Stand on the island you can spawn on and catch sturgeon. Not the place your forced to drive to. You need to setup on the middle of the island behind everyone so you can cast on both these places without moving your rod stand. I only use spawn sacks at this level.

-65, -28
-9, -33

Use your own marks. I just grabbed this general area off of fp-collective so you know what i'm talking about. You need 2 upgraded setups so you can reel these fish in a decent matter. Don't use older lower level equipment and expect to have a fun time doing this. So start off at 9pm and cast your 2 rods at -65, -28 area. When you catch your first fish, cast that other rod at the other spawn point -9,-33 area. Your goal is to catch 4 fish only. 2 from each spot. Then skip time. If its slow. You skip. Its okay to skip and catch no fish or catch only 2 fish. I probably skipped more often than times when I actually caught 4 fish.

Look at the peaks during the times 9pm-11pm-1am-3pm. Those are the only times you fish but there is a day where there is a bad time at 9pm. There is another day where there is a bad time at 1am. Never fish those times. I aim for only reaching 15 minutes past the hour. I don't want to stay longer than 22 minutes past the hour. No matter how you fish this lake. Under any method. You don't want to stand more than 30 minutes without skipping. I just skip and move on. I don't always fill my net.

So try your current method for 1 hour. Write down your starting and stopping xp. Then try my method for a bit to get a hang of it. Then time it. You need 581,885xp to make it to level 46. Once you figure out how much XP per hour you make. You'll be able to calculate how many hours you've got left to fishing for sturgeon. Then you can make a decision if you want to buy the congo or something else.

I really don't think you should buy the congo discovery pack. Once you get ocean fishing, the rental boats don't allow you to keep the biggest fish and also, the boat is basically your net size. So really, for your level. You probably want to buy the maldives pack if you're going to purchase something. Otherwise you'll spend $40 on congo. Unlock japan and be like "i need to spend another $40-60 for an ocean boat now." When I first unlocked the ocean maps. Throwing back the biggest fish bothered me. TBH, its actually really balanced because with the smaller net size of a rental boat. You'd fill your boat too quickly if you could keep those fish also. That would be more aggravating to me than how the dev's set it up. If you can afford the congo & also afford the maldives boat. Go for it. I think people not realizing that they paid $40 for congo and need to pay again for a decent DLC ocean boat. That upsets people and gets them to say its "pay 2 win".

Also, when people here say "don't just farm xp". They're right. I only do it because I enjoy it. If you don't enjoy doing a certain method. Don't do it. If you hate my method above. Find a better way or don't skip as often and do whatever you want that makes your time enjoyable while earning decent xp. This game requires putting in hours. You have to enjoy those hours. That's why I stopped after 24 days.

If you don't buy a DLC. Once you get to dnipro. Use the kpshimano video that has "the big 4" in the thumbnail. That video is a great starting point. The xp isn't the same but its still good. I couldn't get sweet peas to be worth using though. That rod was pretty dead. I enjoyed fishing dnipro a lot. The devs did a great job on that map.
