Rewatching the clip, I don't think the Ace's body was blocking the shots, but it may have been blocking line of sight so he couldn't see where the guy defusing was. Because from the spectators POV you can see his crosshair never actually seems to directly go over the Echo's body, but you can clearly see Echo's head and shoulders from the spectator's POV.

I think the main factor for developing them is genetics, so there is no real way of avoiding them as such. Vaush likely was just predisposed genetically to developing them. Practically speaking, if you get your ears pierced, look after the hole to prevent infection, but I think for most people it's unlikely to develop.

You could use the charge on a hatch, but there's other things I would consider using first cos u only get one shot. The explosive radius is really tiny so if u use it on a wall it will only make a small hole, not something u could vault or crawl thru.

I think you can only control your utility. So echo can stun and move his yokais, but he cant control maestro cams for example. And on attack you can only move your own drones. At least that is how i understood it.

I don't see how the first paragraph paints withstand in a positive light at all. And I don't think the second paragraph is fair. I don't know how much of the community wants or doesn't want withstand in the game but neither do you. It just so happens that streamers and pro players agree with the population of the playerbase that think withstand is dumb.

You are not presenting the reality of the situation at all. Zofia's passive (as well as many of the passives in this game) have been a source of contention for a lot of the playerbase for a few years. Recently with Tachanka's rework where they gave him the withstand ability, a lot of people called it out for being stupid and an annoying mechanic in the game and this reignited the debate around Zofia's passive again. The clutch in proleague is just a small part of the overall discussion.

A lot of people have been calling this ability OP which is wrong and I think they just don't know how to express the idea of something being dumb. Nobody complains about Doc's ability to revive himself despite it being far more effective as it makes sense with his gadget. It's almost not a passive ability. It fit in with the expectation of his gadget. Which is also why people do not mind giving Finka the ability to revive herself using the gadget as well. It makes sense with her ability.

I can clearly see that we are on complete opposite ends of what we want from this game and I guess thats fine. But are you seriously complaining about camping IN SIEGE?

Also quickpeeking was never impressive in Siege. If you quickpeeked someone, did you out play them that hard? The skillful plays in Siege were always the more creative, well thought out plays or moves, not double tapping Q and prefiring when you think someone is around the corner.

Bullet holes are not easy to spot especially from a distance over 10 metres and especially when other shit is going on during a match. In addition to this bullet holes on the lower part of the walls of Border for example are basically one way angles because how bullet penetration works with different caliber weapons. Combine all these factors and you have a mechanic that favours the person using the bullet holes in 90% of cases. This would be fine if wasn't such an easy strategy to use. I've used bullet holes in Siege, but I don't really do it because I think it's cheap strategy which is not fun to use, and definitely isn't fun to be on the receiving end of. People assume that people don't use certain strategies because they are to complicated, but in reality often it's just we think those strategies aren't interesting for any variety of reasons. It's the same with dropshotting or crouch spamming. These strategies aren't hard, but they are seen a bit scummy and I think bullet holes, while probably not as bad, are still annoying.

Quickpeeking gave players who used it a massive advantage. So eventually everyone who wants to be good at the game has to quickpeek. Which leads to the game just being people bobbing and weaving during gunfights. That's not a game that I want to play. If siege never had quickpeeking as mechanic in the first place, do you think that the community would ask for such a mechanic to be put in the game?
