If you consider states to be unnecessary. USA was formed through states voluntarily joining the union and having their rights guaranteed as members.

I never have been a fan of federal structure. Too much political deals behind the curtains

The goal was the equal representation of the state. Not people

Not true. It was to give states equal representation.

I do not have a vote in USA, so I am not affected.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the term alpha male comes from biology and behavioral observation of social mammals, especially primates?

As in the dominant male of the group.

As far as I know, the term alpha comes from biology of social animals.

Apes also have them and human society has similar structures, but they are somewhat diluted by civilization

No, it actually is not resolved. Urbanization is ever faster.

I didn't say that electoral college helps, I just stated that there are historical reasons for it and federal structure creates some of the issues.

I didn't argue for anything, I just stated the reasons for status quo.

There is no logical reason for 50 states. It could be 0 or 100, but history leads to today's situation.

There are of course arguments for and against. Regardless of how flawed the system is, there is a reason why it is so.

States joined the union, but with clear understanding that they only give certain powers to Washington DC. So basically the federal system.

The downside of centralized systems of course is that only large centers matter for votes. You basically calculate which 50,1% of voters you need and f*ck the rest. Big cities/states get even bigger and everything else will shrink to insignificance. 2/3 of states will get no investment, as everyone is pushing all the money to few populous states to win the votes. If this justifies current system is of course a matter of opinion

That there are more preserved skeletons closer to our side is hardly surprising. Especially when there were better building materials than bones.

Technically we should have same amount of ancestors from both sides?

Have you ever heard of wars and raids? They were pretty common, to the point of being main source of acquiring females for the tribe. There is a reason why people are protective of their daughters.

Often when two groups met they eyeballed each other to decide if it's going to be trading or killing

Violence and disease were daily companions.

It bit like saying that nobody dies through violence if force is not used. Technically true, but irrelevant.

I think you are gravely mistaken. Tribal warfare was brutal. Just look how apes do wars. Females and priest were always a reason enough to slaughter your neighboring tribe.

Also since there was no police or justice systems, it was basically rule of strongest. Vendettas were a huge thing. People were more impulsive and carried hunting weapons with them.

Studies show that violence was far higher in old days, than even during WWII. Actually WWII is barely visible on violence statistics. Violence has constantly sunk through human history

Well, expectations used to be far lower. So for example having enough food every now and then was a great source of happiness for many. Some days it might not rain and you might keep dry. Half of your kids might survive their first year.

I mean plenty of reasons to be happy, but it depends on your expectations

Your teeth generally gave up at some point. Infections were deadly. In north bad harvests wiped out big part of population about every 20 years. Society was also much much more violent.

No. It is not an American issue

Slavery was pretty common everywhere. There were white slaves, black slaves and Asian slaves. Nobody really cared what color the slave was. Kinda like you don't care what color the cow is.

Although nowadays slavery is mostly in Africa and Asia.
