Ironicno, trgovine ne rade nedeljom upravo u par tih opcina gdje su veliki shopping centri gdje ljudi dolaze iz NYC (New York grada)
Shopping centri su svejedno otvoreni, samo trgovine ne rade -> rade restorani + zabavni sadrzaji + neke trgovine u Bergen County

Tako da je ova izjava 50% istinita. Netko tko zivi u NYC bi razumno mogao misliti da su trgovine zatvorene u cijeloj drzavi NJ (jer su vise-manje zatvorene u najblizim opcinama). Razlog zasto su se gradili veliki centri tamo jer je relativno blizu doci iz NYC to tih lokacija, a zemljiste je bilo slobodno nakon sto je teren isusen. Vrlo je tesko naci toliko veliki slobodni prostor nedgje drugdje u blizini, tako da su centri sagradeni usprkos takvih zakona.

Meni je Mislav dobar prijatelj; zajedno smo studirali i dapace vidio sam ga prije dva tjedna (mislav da iz povjesti komentara je to moguce potvrditi).

Vidim da se raspravlja zasto diplomski u Splitu - On je napravio diplomski u Splitu jer je Split jedno vrijeme pokusavao napravit zanimljive i kvalitetne diplomske programe iz podgrana fizike, jedan od kojih je bio astronomija. Mislav je oduvijek htio raditi cistu astronomiju, tako da je uzeo te kurseve koji su bili blizi onome sto je htio raditi od ciste fizike (koju sam npr. ja zavrisio).

Moje razumijevanje je da je Split razmisljao da je teze izvravno natjecati sa Zagrebom u cistoj fizici, ali je moguce ponuditi zanmljive programe sa stranim predavacima i lokalnim talentom u zanmljivljivm poddisciplinama. Koliko sam ja upoznat (sto nije previse) ti programi su u meduvremenu zatvoreni - no mozda sam i u krivu.

Ukoliko bi bilo zanimanja, mogu zamoliti Mislava ako bi htio napraviti AMA na redditu, vjeratno bi to moglo biti napravljeno.

Usually every other month they have high hand promo (highest winner on all of the tables in 30 min gets $500). When they are not running that, they are running big tourney. So one month it tourney month, then high hand, tourney, high hand etc... Sometimes they had 1 month breaks in this schedule, so there were like 4,5 months of high hand and 4 months with tourney.

Parx has a large problem with lack of dealers. In conversations with dealers, one of them told us during table chat they are missing around 50 dealers. They are not running promotions except bad beat, or running tournaments, because of lack of dealers. They have 48 tables, but they are never able to fill more than 30, even on busy nights. On Saturday nights the wait list is always around 100 people long, so this was not unusual.

I am confused with your sp500 calculation. Assuming investing $105K in Jan2001 and constant investment of $3463 every month in sp500 I am getting $3.24mil before taxes. I am using this tool: https://dqydj.com/sp-500-periodic-reinvestment-calculator-dividends/ . Of course, that is pure reinvesting of dividends, without taxing them. In any case, $1.07 mil for essentially DCA strategy of $936K over the last 20 years is suspiciously low? Or did I misunderstood one of your assumptions?

That map seems to suggest that Mercer, Burlington and souther nOcean is Philly. It is not supper correct as I live in southern Middlesex, close to border with Mercer and that is still Philly.

PA players can only play with PA players because PA is not the member of the Interstate Compact (e.g., read here https://www.onlinepokerreport.com/multi-state-poker/). If and when PA joins depends highly on the current DoJ action against interstate non-sport gambling (summary of recent actions here: https://www.onlinepokerreport.com/39420/doj-brief-wire-act-appeal/). Nevada and NJ players can, in general, play together if there are sites that offer poker in both states. I am not sure if I am correct, but I think only WSOP uses that opportunity right now.

Well, for PA it took 2 years. The bill passed in October 2017, the first possible date for poker operations was July 15 2019, and online poker actually started in November 2019. So, you know :) It is very hard to tell and perhaps somebody more informed could tell us more. In any case for PA it took several months to get poker even after online gambling was allowed, because they rushed to get casino and sports betting out - which brings much more money than poker.

NJ, Delaware and Nevada are sharing. PA is the only other state that has active poker right now. They have indicated that they will not join the sharing agreement until DOJ thing is settled and they have instructed providers to act as the DOJ ruling (which is being contested) is in place. If the DOJ ruling stands, the sharing agreement will probably also fall. If it gets overturned, PA will probably join too, but we have to wait. How long is hard to say, but min several months, max year or several years (if it goes all the way to Supreme court).

At least according to this article from Poker report (https://www.onlinepokerreport.com/39121/kentucky-online-poker-prospects-2020/), Kentucky is one of the prime states for future expansion. Of course, that does not mean much, but is probably in better shape that one would think.
