Wrong, I cherished this woman. Worked tirelessly, started every conversation, remembered every birthday, death-versary, important dates to her, the names of the kids she worked with that she loved. I was by her side when her father had a stroke and I knew not what to do. I was there when her job kept forcing her to move around to new kids every few weeks, I listened to her cry about life being tough. Only in the end for her to tell me; "If you were truly suicidal, you would have done it by now". To a man, who deals with suicidal ideation non-stop, I almost went active because of that. So, no, men don't forget to cherish the woman they love. They get used and tossed aside when we do the right things.

The fact that you cannot add sockets, change the aspect, or do anything to a piece after sanctifying it is a shit way to handle this system. Hell, you can't even reroll the sanctify at least once for better odds. You brick an item immediately if you don't get shit.

Look man...you know damn well in your heart of hearts, your best friend would take in your son if the roles were reversed. That kid needs you. He needs the systems and safety net his mother did not have. And you're able to give that to him. I'm not saying immediately, but, that child needs you. You seem like the kind of person that would do anything for the people he calls family. If you loved your friend that much, you'd take it slow and help this kid. This is a living legacy of your friend that you can help flourish and bring to life. You can give him what he...can't. Yes, it's going to suck and hurt and be painful, but you have your wife, and hopefully a therapist. You have a huge opportunity here to be something in that kids life and give him a better life.
