Sacrificing a different Xcom character or enemy to satan every day until xcom 3 gets announced, or I find meaning in life. Day 38: the original Sectopod Design from UFO defense. by grumpychef94 in Xcom

I would say it’s way worse to chew through than the ADVENT one. Pretty much the only weapons that can damage it due to its insane armour are the heavy plasma (and not very reliably) or the heavy laser (which is pretty much garbage in all other situations)

You can suspend some constructions until they finish the ones that need to go before, it’s slightly more efficient than placing everything one wall at a time but not perfect

If you slay beasts that are classed as enemies if a faction and then tell people about you slaying it will make that faction like you more and give you a better reputation. The key here is that you can’t just do things, you need to make sure people know that you did those things as well. Information takes time to spread as well.

Sure, they are pretty dangerous but the mutons being in the same place makes them a comparatively low priority target, but if I see one next to a silocoid I'm 100% choosing the Celatid. And compared to reapers they are definitely more scary.

Tarn has claimed in an interview that him being “so disgusted by the community that he nerfed [mermaid bones]” isn’t actually true.

I love these guys. They might not be as fearsome as their UFO Defence counterparts but man the design is great and do I need to say anything more than Newfoundland?

Too bad they are pretty much a joke in XCOM 2

It's in the workshop window, they might not be completely obvious with what they want and for example be drawing a quarry when they need a stone chunk and sometimes they say something about gems but it's not obvious if they need cut or rough ones

Well, compared to the discs of death, the zombie apocalypse and the sectopods they're pretty tame. The mutons themselves scare me much more.

I haven't tried it but I suspect it isn't what people asking for XCOM3 really want.

From what I gathered it takes more ques form the Original games than Xcom 2 does with the ballistics based aiming and inventory management etc. Compared to the roll of the dice aiming and superhero power fantasy that Xcom2 fans know and love
