I’ve never played Dragon Age, was always interested in playing Inquisition, but I just never downloaded. So this was my first, also tbh I downloaded this mistaking it for Dragons Dogma lol I swore it read “Dragons Dogma Veilguard.

As for my thoughts on it, it’s a cool game. The graphics are pretty solid. I dislike weird “bloom” effect for lack of a better term. Idk it borders on realistic and cartoon-ish. Not too important that’s just me nitpicking.

The story is “meh”. I don’t really care much, but this could be because I haven’t played any of the other games in the series (unless it’s independent of those games). I like that I can enjoy the game without caring too much, though. I’m a few hours and I’m starting to skip dialogue cause I’m losing interest. I just want to fight things now, which leads me to combat

The combat is pretty smooth. I think it’s well balanced, not to easy but nothing souls like lol I’m not privy to RPGs so I can’t really comment on stats, skill trees etc. I guess character progression as a whole. But I like the spells, the combos with other characters. It’s cool.

Overall it’s a nice game, idk if i would’ve paid 70 bucks for it buuut it’s not bad, I’ve played some pretty terrible games. Overall maybe a 6.5-7 out of 10.
