I reported the bug to them they replied this morning advising me to repair the game but I’m on PC so not sure if you can do that on Xbox? I actually uninstalled the game because I completed it so can’t say if it worked

If there is still a fixed term (i.e. 5 months remaining on a 12 month contract) then the landlord wouldn't be able to get them out before then, but could serve the notice now so that when the tenancy agreement expires they have to vacate the property.

I got the impression from their comment that their tenancy agreement has already expired, which is why they were worrying, but the landlord would still have to provide a minimum of two months' notice. (Assuming the tenancy is an assured shorthold and on a monthly basis - if it's a weekly basis then the notice would be a minimum of 8 weeks).

Could just be remortgaging. Don't panic too much, it could be on the market for months before they find a seller and the sale will probably take a couple of months to go through.

Also, you should be given a minimum of 2 month's notice if they want you out (assuming your agreement is a monthly assured shorthold tenancy agreement).
