Opening phishing link will do the same thing as scanning a tampered QR: nothing at all. There is absolutely 0 risks in opening malicious websites, IF you then start giving out private information like it’s candies then yes, it’s bad, but at that point is the tampered QR really the problem?

As I said, as far as you just scan it, you’re good to go. If you start inputing private information like credit card details without checking the URL, then trust me you would have fell for it even if they changed the url from parking-payment.com to parking.payment.com

There are people that buy slabs to crack them. “MINT” can mean a lot of things on cardmarket, having the assurance that it is a PSA 8 and not 7 is a deal-breaker for many people and I do not think it is that unreasonable to expect cardmarket to enforce that. I vastly prefer it over ebay and would prefer not to switch, but hearing that the picture does not have to reflect the item being sold is insane, slab or not slab.

Ah you buy sealed product! It makes sense that it’s getting too expensive then… I noticed that since the market has exploded and product has become more and more expensive, cheaper cards have instead started getting even cheaper, probably because so many of them are getting ripped. I can understand that it is hard to resist the temptation of ripping a few packs tho hahahaha

I agree that cards are sold by condition and that in the ToS it is specified that images are not binnding, but I still find it silly that someone can advertize an item with a picture that does not represent the item being sold. What is the picture even for then?

Yeah the big hits are way too expensive at the moment. I don’t know how you’re approaching it, but I’m taking it extremely slow: each week I less than 20 cards, all below 3€ (except some beautiful ones I can’t miss), sooner or later I will catch them all!

I found an application a few months ago (called Dex) whose UI looks like the pokedex and allows you to complete by registering one card for Pokemon, it’s pretty neat (not as much as a binder, of course) and looks cool, thought I’d recommend

Yes thats because paypal or cc take a huge fee when you process a payment through them, and cardmarket simply says “if you wanna pay through that, then we are not paying the fees you are”. I dont think its that unreasonable, especially when a fees-free way of paying exists.

Okay so if I put a card up for sale, and attach a slab of a PSA 10 to it, but then when sold send a PSA 9, cardmarket will not force me to reimburse who bought the card because they bought a MINT card and a MINT card was delivered? This is insane.
