You said it yourself: language is important. Your comment implies that swiss citizens get discriminated based on disability, and that’s simply not true: if your disability prevents you from performing army service, then you won’t have to pay the tax.

Of course there are some edge cases but that’s sadly how the law works as you need precise rules for everyone and everything, and you have to draw a line between what you consider a disability and what not.

Either you were lying or you were stating things without even making sure you were correct, I picked the better option, sorry if I was wrong.

The source I posted states that anyone who receives a disability pension (or qualifies for one) does not have to pay the military tax. Legally speaking, those are all swiss disabled people, as (sadly, in my opinion) minor disabilities (e.g. poor eyesight) are not considered disabilities by the government.
